  1. That's fine, but why come out with all that other squit when others say it's Belle Vue? How about having an adult discussion instead and telling us WHY you think it's the Oak Tree Arena? Personally I'd put Somerset third behind Belle Vue and Scunthorpe but it's all about opinions, and that doesn't mean that I don't think that Somerset is a fantastic race track because it is.
  2. Bloody hell, what's the points limit going to be?
  3. Wow, Starmans blinkered bias extends to Somerset too
  4. Berge and/or Riss would be excellent signings for Belle Vie. Unfortunately signing for a Friday night Championship club scuppers that idea for Riss.
  5. Not at all, if the minimum average for foreigners who had already ridden here was five or six I'd have no qualms at all. We may well reap the rewards of him being pretty poor last year and I imagine we will but he could well be pony again. However you can't use last year's PL averages and a 1.4 conversion for those who don't have them and not raise assessed averages too.
  6. Absolutely barmy that new foreigners were ever considered to be coming in on four or five.
  7. Not sure he will prove better than Puk. Equally as good will do nicely.
  8. You used to be a good contributor to the forum. What happened?
  9. Lol, since when has Twitter been gospel? That said there is always that risk with riders associated with Poole. Better than the alternative of no competitive number one. Huckenbeck would be at reserve.
  10. Well my Dad is bigger than all of your Dads put together. So there.
  11. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/14956489.Speedway__King__39_s_Lynn_given_permission_to_talk_to_Holder/
  12. Talking more about Starmans treatment of Burntfaceman on here.
  13. Common sense prevails, should never have been a five in the first place.
  14. Bewley has to be one of the first names on the teamsheet. Ditching Auty from that team and replacing with a 5 ish pointer would be a far better bet.
  15. That's the risk with Holder or any Poole stalwart.
  16. So anyone who doesn't toe the Lord Ford party line is an idiot?
  17. I've said this several times before. As good a promoter as Ford is (putting all the stunt pulling to one side for a moment) he promotes in an ideal area of the country, the wealth and tourism in the area make it hard to fail to get people through the door.
  18. Pride (arrogance) comes before a fall and Poole fans tend to have it in spades. And how the rest of us will laugh if it goes pear shaped once again.
  19. I don't think a rider not being paid can be blamed for not giving his all.
  20. The old track was too narrow. Bit of a mystery why the new shape hasn't provided decent racing, I have been once since the change which was an EL meeting in 2010 and it was pretty good. Perhaps the change of league has had something to do with it.
  21. He came back from a year out so having been everywhere last year you'd have thought he will be better away next season. In any case that team should be dynamite at home.
  22. You'd have thought that Cook, Worrall x2, Fricke, Jacobs, Bewley & Williamson is highly likely to be the team.
