  1. Rory will do very well if he has an injury free year. But that is an enormous 'if'.
  2. Even if there was we should be going down a different road with team building, both were poor last year.
  3. Tell us all about yourself my friend. How long have you been going to King's Lynn?
  4. Looking around at some of the other reserves I'd say that Huckenbeck is a must.
  5. I expect Poole will still manage some.
  6. I don't suppose they had a choice, he is self employed and as such will go where the money is.
  7. He's been inconsistent but could turn out to be a very good signing on that average. Very fast and stylish at his best. Will be interesting to see if he is fourth our third on the averages of the declared team.
  8. Pretty sure you stood next to me! 2011, was arguably Bjerre's best season in the UK and he beat Emil, Holder, Ward, Freddie Tec in last heat deciders at Lynn. Passed people for fun too. I know that was several bad injuries ago but in the right environment and in an injury free run he will do well and pass his fair share of opponents.
  9. A confident Kenneth is perfectly capable of overtaking.
  10. Don't think it's as bad as people are making out. They should get plenty of heat two 5-1's and there are riders there who can and probably will increase their averages.
  11. Holder Lambert Batch Porsing Rose Huckenbeck Bailey Does that fit?
  12. Looks a good side but how many times have we seen this from Ipswich in the PL? Ever since that first season in 2011 when on paper they had a team who should have walked the league they have underachieved. Two two pointers at reserve is a risk although I think both could do very well. Newman and Schlein are also risky for their own reasons but on paper at least this side should be up there challenging.
  13. There is probably a case for having one older head per team for the others to learn from but those other six need to be under a certain age. Whether people like it or not the NL is mainly a training league to produce and develop talent for the two leagues above, and IMO it's at its most exciting when you have talented teenagers battling it out, and progressing from reserves to heatleaders (not newsreaders as my auto correct would have you believe).
  14. To be fair it's only the odd one or two. Good appointment IMO, the management of the club is in good hands with good people involved, let's hope they are joined by some good riders. It's all good
  15. Bailey. Somebody else in place of Schlein, maybe Palm Toft, Auty, Jorgensen, Douglas or Riss.
  16. Hmmmm, that habit of repeating a riders christian name throughout posts is familiar.
  17. Has Robert not signed for a Polish team?
  18. That's a sentence I never thought I'd see posted on this forum.
  19. Wow. Take a breath GRW. It's an extension of what Rob has been doing anyway, minus the team managing. Buster will still be around I'm sure and involved in decision making. Makes sense for somebody who knows the club inside out to run things for Buster. And it seems to be a direct attempt to right the wrongs of last season which can only be a good thing.
