  1. Must be your dog then who keeps mentioning Rob Lyon in your posts, I'd get him to post under his own account.
  2. I'd politely suggest that you remove that chip from your shoulder and learn some manners before posting.
  3. Big blow that Campos is missing due to work commitments.
  4. Ah, I read it as 'assuming' or 'if' all are available.
  5. Hence why the poster specified 'given all are available' I expect.
  6. True but he is more experienced than Kurtz so can probably adapt to different conditions more easily. I agree that a track being safe and good for racing are the most important factors but some home riders will inevitably struggle occasionally if the track is never prepared the same.
  7. Your'e assuming he would have been an Aussie had that path been clear for him then? Quite possible he wanted to be a Brit all along.
  8. It's not nonsense though if the track is indeed different every week......Covatti wouldn't know any different and rode it as he found it but Kurtz et al might well struggle if conditions are different every week and require differing set ups.
  9. Arlington is a completely different kettle of fish to West Row, I would expect Eastie to have a huge advantage at reserve and probably one or two of the Young Stars to five to struggle too. Cockle & Hazeldene must have ridden the track at some point but the rest must be first timers.
  10. You've already hit sixty against Lynn without turning up reading some of the comments on here! One or two people could do with calming down a little after a couple of wins.
  11. I think that point of view disrespects the competition quite badly. And surely Scunny are in the business of winning meetings? Even if qualification had gone you still want to win meetings to build confidence and momentum for the PL campaign surely? Redcar were only three points ahead at heats 9 & 12, where Lunna could (should) have taken one of Perks' rides.
  12. You are talking about one track and referring to one particular meeting. Far more telling are the averages of King, Stead & Auty in both leagues over the past few years. I agree with you with regards to the five you have named. King and Stead failed badly last year in the final so for me Lambert & Cook should get their chance this time.
  13. Auty will never be as good as Stead or King, still can't gate after nine years and would be a poor choice. Newman possibly worth persevering with even though he had been around for a fair while too. The squad Gavan named in the OP is more or less on the money though.
  14. This is a clash between two poor looking sides and as such could go either way.
  15. Makes no difference is he races here or not, he is going to be our leading SGP and SWC rider for a few years yet. FWIW I think he'll be back riding for Wolves in the next two or three seasons but I wouldn't blame him if he doesn't.
  16. Tai Woffinden doesn't owe British Speedway anything as far as I'm concerned, if he feels its best to cut down on his riding and travelling then I don't blame him for cutting the UK out of his schedule at all. He has to be the first name on the team sheet for me as our one truly world class rider.
  17. Is there a good reason for AJ's absence or is there some pee taking going on?
  18. Don't think it'll be 60 but should be a comfortable passage through.
  19. No need to shout! Would it not have been dangerous to grade loose stuff onto a bare racing line after 15 afternoon heats? Maybe Peterborough should receive praise for stepping in and replacing Castleford at the last minute.
