  1. Great result for Ipswich with the number one not turning up. Imagine how well they'd be doing if he'd kicked on as we all expected.
  2. Second year in the PL as you very well know. The best way to solve the problem would be to not allow a foreigner's average to drop below the assessed figure he comes in on.
  3. Fair enough, and apologies for sticking my nose in in that case.
  4. A little unecessary. Emma is a reasonably regular contributor to your clubs coffers as far as I'm aware.
  5. While it was a great ride by Kurtz the two Monarchs made the job easier for him by keeping down low on the last lap.
  6. Perhaps I'm a little biased but I'd suggest paid seven for Rose away from home in the top five is a pretty decent performance.
  7. While I'd expect them to clean up at Berwick the other two matches may not prove quire so fruitful, some of Somerset's away performances haven't been great this year.
  8. Having witnessed a rider lose his love in a very similar accident is one where he was thrown over the fence like a ragdoll I'm delighted to read that Matty Wethers is OK. Made my stomach churn seeing the crash. As for the Berwick track, it is what it is. The football pitch means narrow straights and therefore tight entries and exits to the bends. Its been that way for years and probably won't change.
  9. Don't see how Berwick can possibly replace those three riders adequately on their averages around their home track. Should be a comfortable four points for Somerset.
  10. Absolutely Swedish tonight, better standard of rider on a better track.
  11. My verdict? The SEC ladies are much fitter than the Monster girls.
  12. I think there is more to it than that, an 8-1 usually has a psychological effect on both teams and often represents a big shift in momentum of the meeting. It certainly shouldn't ever be available to a home side IMO.
  13. Wasn't it Mr Silver who came up with the TR? I'm no fan of it personally BUT it can't be denied that it makes some meetings more interesting.
  14. Who are the do gooders on this thread? Can't see anyone who has slammed him yet.
  15. Bridger? In what way? Milik isn't 16 and in his first year of racing. Robert may or may not become WC but its impossible to say he won't. How he is managed over the next five or six years is critical.
  16. I'm not a great fan of booing any rider really, especially in the NL.
  17. A Cradley fan moaning about other supporters giving a rider grief, really?
  18. How on earth can you say that when he is sixteen? I believe he set the fastest time of the meeting at Poole the other week, he has the speed already......just needs to gather some experience and better gating and he can achieve whatever he wants to IMO.
  19. Tonight proved more than ever that we need to get our riders appearing abroad a lot more than they are now. Stead and King looked very naive at times but I feel for them, not their fault they are among the best four available and its not Rosco's fault either. Hopefully the five year plan involves our youngsters riding on the continent and that Rosco gets more support from the BSPA than Rob did. As for the meeting fantastic last heat from Puk, top class. Feel a little for Poland but thems the rules. Australia disappointing apart from the excellent Doyle. Danes really ought to have picked MJJ but really pleased for Mads.
  20. Who makes out its heavenly? Have you had a run in of some kind with Buster at some point? Seems like you never miss an opportunity to have a go.
