S W C - Who Will Be Picked For Uk

I know that but I wonder if Rosco et al are reluctant to pick him unless he fully commits to GB. On Lynn form alone over the last few weeks he really ought to be in the squad, would have he and Blackbird in place of Stead & Bridger. -

I hope Lambert has been omitted due to issues with his German licence rather than being overlooked. Also think Lewis Blackbird can count himself unlucky to not be included. -

Harris has a good record in the SWC and as it stands is one of GB's four best riders. If Rosco picks a team with an eye on the future then he won't be in it but if he picks the strongest possible quartet then Harris must ride. -
Scunny not left the changing room yet by the looks of things

Just because one big league didn't work nearly twenty years ago doesn't mean it wouldn't now. Although you really couldn't blame any PL promoter for not wanting to get into bed with Lord Ford.

If Dryml had an uninjured back and Fisher had a brain Panthers may have nicked this one. -

Is this a wind up? -
Many people thought speedway should be 'stripped back' last winter and in hindsight it really ought to have been. Riders missing from fixtures because they are racing elsewhere have become the main bugbear for speedway fans IMO, people can accept guests or R/R if a team member is injured but not if they are somewhere else. Whether it means all EL speedway being on a Monday or a Wednesday (or a mixture of both) or top riders not racing here if they don't put the UK first it needs sorting. EL matches should never be scheduled on World Championship qualifying weekends like we had at Leicester the other week or at Eastbourne earlier this season, and much more should be done to avoid clashes for riders who are doubling up, some of the fixture scheduling this season has been absolutely rank. Time for speedway in this country to put itself first whichever path it takes.

'without necessarily weakening the product' Are you sure GRW?

That is all relevant stuff but all the promoting in the world is useless if riders keep missing meetings. People are absolutely fed up with guests and R/R. Our fixture scheduling needs to be much better.

It has to be horses for courses and to that end you can pretty much rule out Kennett & Bridger round Lynn. Worrall has had a disappointing season so far and although he did reasonably well at the NA on Wednesday I think Barker and particularly King would be stronger. Cook has to be in after his paid 12 for Belle Vue. -

So if Nicholls is still making himself unavailable you are going with a three man team as you've ruled everyone else out -

Hmmmm I seem to remember Nermark getting loads of stick at Edinburgh in 2005 for coming in on a big average and failing to deliver. Any number one who is poor will get it in the neck. Can't imagine he is deliberately average lowering but with speedway you never know. -
You have to wonder why teams keep employing him when the annual 'retirement' is almost inevitable.

Woffy Bomber King Cook Lambert's gating not good enough yet although he's quick enough if he gets in front. Assuming he wants to represent GB of course.
