I agree that texting isn't as easy as people think, and I think we all agree that the efforts of people texting updates are warmly appreciated by everyone. -

No, people have a right to voice their opinions without being set upon by bullies like you. Try growing up a bit. -

Was gonna say the same thing. Devildodger is always so aggresive and confrontational. -

Is Lewis Rose ok after his tumble? -
Poor meeting on a poor track and didn't get to see the final as Sky Plus stopped just before it! But great to see Tai with his mojo back. Lynn pair were poor but more concerned with them being in one piece for our meetings.

Embra lots and lots, Ippo very few. -
Don't see why, he is probably earning much more being in a top five as well as learning much quicker. I think riding in the PL would have done him a lot of good also but it makes me wonder why he was prepared to sign for a Sunday PL club and presumably drop his German meetings just like that. Perhaps the Germans aren't happy that he has committed to the British U21 set up after all?

Stefan in for Jacobs, should satisfy the Cradley fans' need to have a good boo and hiss anyway, bless 'em.

Lambert refused the fast track offer. No doubt he had had more than one EL offer to ride in a top five so why would he agree to £40 per point?
-
That's fair enough, didn't realise that. Seems a shame to penalise a young Britt but rules are rules and nothing should be more important than that.

Seems like somebody on the MC doesn't want the Diamonds to strengthen up too much. Self interest rules once again! Can't see how its not in the best interests of the sport to allow our best prospect to race over here more often at sixteen years old. Interestingly it would seem that racing in Germany, which was the best thing since sliced bread a few weeks ago, would presumably have been knocked on the head had this move home through.

He is saying it is the strongest team that could have been picked and that the future does look rosy -
They look a very decent outfit now.

Bagpuss replied to The Pedaler's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The key is for Rosco to pick the best four we have available OR commit to blooding three youngsters alongside Tai. Last year the selection represented neither really. We ain't going to win the thing but if the strongest side is selected we have to be beating USA and Latvia this year. -
GB team named for this meeting also featuring the Aussies, Czechs & the hosts Germany: Kyle Howarth © Jason Garrity Adam Ellis Robert Lambert Interesting that Whizzer has included Lambert after he refused the British U21 final and has overlooked U21 Champ Bates, but I think he has ended up with the strongest team possible for the event. What Makes The Perfect Race Track, And Why?
Bagpuss replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Nice wide entries and exits to the bends, a decent amount of dirt watered just the right amount, a smooth surface well prepared and maintained during the meeting and usually two well matched teams containing riders who will fight to the flag. -
