  1. I mean it's a fair question, and only time will tell. Personally I think he's still improving and is so good round Poole that I think he'll be fine, but he'll find life hard in a few heat 13s & 15s away from home I suspect.
  2. He was willing last year, but was being controlled by Wroclaw. Either way it wouldn't be much good to Brum unless he wasn't being told when to turn up or not and was 100% committed.
  3. I think they look better than Leicester, Lynn and the rumoured Brum, but behind Ipswich, Sheffield and BV.
  4. The 28 match ultimate pass looks like good value too at sixteen quid a meeting.
  5. It must have been a draw surely? No other way it should be done.
  6. Interesting that Lambert was in the plans until they got 'let down by a couple of riders'.
  7. Yeah it looks pretty good. For me Ippo, Sheff, BV & Oxford look like a clear top four but margins are fine in speedway and you never know.
  8. Yep I hear you too. A marquee signing possibly would but is that realistic?
  9. I don't think it's that bad, couple of what should be good reserves and we know all Worrall and Brennan. The question marks would be over the three Poles.
  10. Yep fair enough but that an awful lot of rumours for a team signing riders from scratch including three Poles who haven't been here for years or at all.
  11. That's an awful lot of rumours though for a club signing riders from scratch.
  12. So if you amalgamate all the rumours on here it could be a side that looks something like Pawlicki Pawlicki Lampart Worrall Brennan Cook Flint
  13. I think you've gone a little early with this, it's impossible to put Brum anywhere until they name more riders.
  14. So presumably Fricke, Masters, Douglas, Becker, Lawson, Kemp and J Thompson?
  15. It was all to do with the Wagstaff/Brian Griffin idea that they hatched at Lynn in 2000, when as well as the matching Wolfsport two piece race suits all the bikes had matching silver covers. Griffin then disappeared during the 2001 season from memory and Waggy struggled on to the end of 2002 before moving the whole operation to Cowley, mainly to do with the corporate hospitality opportunities at a greyhound stadium IIRC. The silver machine nickname and bike covers went with him, was obviously an image he liked.
  16. More to come from Jenkins and Atkins I reckon. Agree about Killeen but the potential is there. Boughen could well end up challenging for a heat leader position.
  17. Packed with potential. I'd perhaps have go e for Rowe rather than Heeps but as had been said the loyalty is a good thing and perhaps they've gone for his extra experience.
  18. If MPT avoids injury he 100% WILL increase his average. Massive if though.
  19. I have absolutely no idea. I'm not sure I'd even be able to tell you who their parent clubs are. I don't think anyone is having a moan about it, just pointing out that efforts were made to use up all points available.
  20. One of those British riders in particular would have meant a very, very good looking side but it is what it is. They seem to have tried very hard to use all the points but sometimes it doesn't work out. I'm happy they've had a clear out and have signed some proper racers. Just need to get the track right.
  21. Absolutely, in the last half a dozen seasons Swindon, Lynn and Dad's Army P'boro have all finished top of the pile having been predicted to finish bottom. In such a small league if things go your way you can have a very good season.
