  1. No idea, but whatever the rights and wrongs that is incredibly cringeworthy and doesn't do anyone any favours.
  2. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/miscellaneous/palin-calls-it-a-day/
  3. I can't even recall him riding over here.
  4. I think they'll be the team to beat personally.
  5. I'd agree with that, they should have the best bottom end apart from perhaps Oxford. They are probably finishing bottom without changes but they look competitive at least.
  6. Agree, and the idea that Vaculik, Kubera or Michelsen will ride here while still in the GP's is fantasy.
  7. Hopefully whoever you are referring to will ignore you up in your ivory tower and carry on the discussion as they see fit
  8. So in other words it'll be an undiscovered wonderkid, a ringer or somebody not ready/any good.
  9. Do we really need another round of sniping on this thread
  10. Foreverblue is quite clearly not anti Brennan, he's just saying that in his opinion Newman and Thompson would have been better than Brennan and an untried sixteen year old, it's a fair point. Personally I think Brennan will flourish but the tail looks a bit dodgy, time will tell.
  11. Absolutely. I've long said that the reason the racing is perceived to be better in tier two is purely down to the circuits. We've now lost Peterborough which was one of the better ones too, although Brum and Oxford are potentially decent. But as you say Redcar, Glasgow, Scunny and Workington are better than anything the top league can offer excluding BV which in my opinion is the best we have in the UK. We can only imagine the top riders who race over here on those best tracks......
  12. There is more to it than averages, the Glasgow reserves have a lot more experience of Championship circuits for example. I take the general point though.
  13. Yep I'd agree with the posts about Hagon, I think he'll do OK. I just think there will be stronger reserve pairings about, which puts a bit of pressure on the newcomer. That said the top four look by far the strongest in the league.
  14. Prices frozen http://www.kingslynn-speedway.com/_mobile/news.php?extend.31435
  15. I think you could have a long old tail unless the last signing is a gem/ringer.
  16. And all far better riders than Jake Allen.
  17. He's a far better rider than his current average, but the question is can he get back to where he was. Better kit will certainly help.
  18. Why would he not stay with the club who put a lot of faith in him last season? Lazy to just trot out the money line.
  19. Thompson really should be a strong reserve up against some of the inexperience named so far.
  20. Good point. It should of course be a guest for your number one only and R/R for the rest, further guests only for reserves (unattached to another Prem team) or a second/third top five member injured.
