  1. I see most people have gone with six heat leaders and a R/S......I've deliberately named two second strings and two reserves as I think that's more in the spirit of a 'team'.
  2. Sayfutdinov Kurtz Museilak Douglas Sedgmen Wojdylo Rowe
  3. I don't think any rider should be criticised for not riding in our second division if that's what they feel is best for their development, shows a bit of ambition and a willingness to get out of their comfort zone.
  4. Poznan are staying up because Landshut can't fulfill Liga 1 criteria.
  5. I applaud any rider who leaves behind the easy money of the Championship to broaden their horizons abroad.
  6. I'd suggest that not riding Monmore every week will do him the world of good too.
  7. You may well be right but with Douglas at 1 and Kemp at 7 Scunthorpe have every chance.
  8. Having drawn at WR in the Play Offs not that long ago Scunny will fancy their chances.
  9. A lot of fuss over Thompson & Ablitt riding at Scunthorpe but I don't understand why that means there are nine changes
  10. A lot of fuss over Thompson & Ablitt riding at Scunthorpe but I don't understand why that means there are nine changes
  11. I think it all boils down to their ambition and desire to see the biggest names possible at Ashfield. I expect they know that it wouldn't mean more punters, that Thursdays wouldn't work quite as well as Fridays and that they wouldn't have local derbies any more. But all that taken into account I'm sure they could make it work if the desire was there to do so. If its not, then fair enough.
  12. I don't think they are British speedway's saviours at all, the problems run far deeper than that but I'd be astonished if riders like Emil, Doyle, Bewley, Lambert, Tai etc don't get extra bums on seats when they are in town. As a general point though Id agree that telly money has been utterly squandered since 1999.
  13. Charles Wright or Steve Worrall if they were available / would come.
  14. I think they are probably just fed up ith you going on about it. Anyway watch out Glasgow, we've seen before how teams who beat Poole in Play Off finals get shafted by rules and regs for the next season
  15. I would love to see Bomber at Lynn. You would imagine one or two P'boro riders will end up at Lynn should they not run too. And I'd welcome back any of Pickering, Klindt, Lawson, Lambert (either) and Rowe.
  16. Everyone has riders they do and don't like but if a promotion has ambition and the financial means to stage top flight speedway then the opportunity to see world class riders every home meeting is a no brainer. Especially round a track like that.
  17. I'm sure it was said by Alex Brady last year that paying for Laguta came from the TV money.
  18. I keep reading this and I always have the same thought.....a club like Glasgow with a good racetrack moving up would enhance the Prem, so even if one considered the top league to be 'inferior' it would be less so with Glasgow in it. You'd have seven in each division and a more even spread of the better circuits. Plus why would you not want to see the likes of Emil, Doyle, Bewley, Holder, Tai, Laguta, Lambert etc on a regular basis?
  19. I'm sure those running Brum aren't daft and know the score, and if they can only run on Mondays then they have no choice anyway.
