  1. Spot on. Speedway riders are self employed, if they can't work due to injury then why not get away while you can. Common sense I'd have thought. If the insinuation is that he's not inured then that's a different matter entirely.
  2. Difference between riders being available and riders being available who the club can afford.
  3. I would too but one can assume that Brady/McInnes has stepped forward to finance the deal and that Tomalin couldnt/wouldn't. I would suggest we are talking an awful lot of money.
  4. The mooted team will be much better at home with those two rather than hit and miss guests and Hans. Probably not away but winning at home has to be the first priority.
  5. Just seen it, that's an absolute shocker
  6. Son of the Animal - Jason Crump There were loads of others back in the day but I can't remember them!
  7. I agree on Jorgensen, and he is good to watch at Lynn and always gives 100%, not sure Klindt and KK fall into that category. However I think Klindt can and probably would score much better riding at 2, 3 or 4. Probably better than Jorgensen. Kvech would be great but I can't see them shelling out for Laguta and somebody else from the continent, I expect it to be a rider already here.
  8. The right five pointer would make that a much better side. Whoever it was would come in at reserve. If a new foreigner can't be found dare I suggest Craig Cook
  9. But maybe he shouldn't cut his nose off yo spite his face. Life is about setbacks, it happens. If he's being stubborn and immature about it that's a great pity. Why not both?
  10. Yep, the delights of Campbell, Kyllingstadt, Davies, Regeling etc. with all due respect to all of those riders.
  11. It was more a reply to TTT rather than yourself really. It's completely moot because it won't happen, but if we were able to replace somebody (probably Jorgensen) with a competitive number one then it would make the world if difference. We will always have a good reserve but lack points from the top of the order, look what difference it made to P'boro tonight. I'd Pickering, MPT & Jakobsen haven't done too much wrong and I'd keep KK for his away form and Klindt because I think he'd offer a lot more away from number 1. No idea who that number one rider would be or even if they could be fitted in but that's what this team needs. And Pickering back pronto.
  12. But Pickering would have scored many more than three so its swings and roundabouts.
  13. I think if you are expecting us to get anywhere near anyone away from home you'll be disappointed. KK just doesn't seem interested away from the AFA and only a couple of others turn up, and never the same two. It's a whole season of struggle ahead unfortunately with the very odd home win.
  14. Lynn certainly missing Pickering tonight.
  15. He's using Josh Pickerings at Lynn so I assume he's still struggling. Seems there aren't enough around, one assumes covid may have prompted some to get a 'proper' job with a guaranteed income.
  16. Emil will probably be ok because he's a class act, but it must be said that Monmore Green is very, very different to Leicester or the Foxhole.
  17. What happened to Pickering practicing Sat with a view to riding Sun & Mon? Panthers to win and Stars to take bonus.
  18. Agree, and I'd pay to watch him over Lawson or Worrall any day of the week.
  19. Two full sides* with no guests or R/R, hallelujah! *at the moment!
  20. Insinuation then! Highly unlikely I'd have thought.
