  1. Looking forward to seeing the video of the superheat somewhere soon!
  2. I have sympathy with the Longtrack thing it's a completely different sport IMO and he shouldn't be missing speedway fixtures for that, nor should any kind of facility be granted. The problem with today is that teams can rearrange meetings willy nilly because guests are handed out like confetti, if it was R/R or a junior then I suspect they wouldn't have accepted the booking. Chris Harris is and aways was racing in Germany or wherever today, as with the majority of speedway's issues the problem lies with the system and the governance of the sport. It all needs tightening up massively.
  3. This meeting was only arranged six days ago so you can hardly blame Harris for being elsewhere. Whether he should be in the qualifier or not is up for debate but if he was asked/qualified then you can't blame him for accepting. Good for him that he's still ambitious in the twighlight of his career. I expect he has his eye on the SWC and why shouldn't he?
  4. He won't be in the team for the next home meeting.
  5. Wouldn't disagree with that, I guess the issue is getting Pickering back in once he's fit with how averages work. It's five weeks since Josh got injured so by now it would be reasonable to force Lynn to sign somebody whether that be permanent or temporary to take his place. Not being able to redeclare with an injured rider included would be common sense.
  6. If Pickering goes to fifth in the averages then he needs replacing even iffir just 28 days as R/R won't cover him at all. Mountain and Laguta for KK and Jorgensen would be good changes. I get the argument about winning at home not away but it would be nice to at least be competitive on the road.
  7. Looking at a photo on Twitter it seems Douglas hasn't got a Lynn body colour on, did they forget to take one for him? Dreadful.
  8. Daft for him to risk it tonight, clearly hasn't had a practice. If they didn't think he would be able to last the distance tonight they should have booked a guest. What a shambles of a season this has been once again.
  9. I really, really hope Jorgensen is the other one leaving. Perhaps that explains his performance tonight. Absolutely awful.
  10. Same old shoite away from home, thank Christ its the last meeting for this line up. Pickering clearly not fit.
  11. Why is it terrible? Seems its going to be Monday going by Laguta's social media.
  12. Yep makes us stronger but I don't like it, should be R/R.
  13. Maximums But I take your point and yes, maybe. That'd be nice. Although I'd winder why it took getting sacked to extractegoid performances if so.
  14. Which is why guests and their excessive and prolonged use are such a bad idea.
  15. Presumably at least two Lynn riders know they are out after tonight so will be interesting to see if they aren't giving 100%, although will we notice the difference from other away matches this season? Also I have my doubts about Pickering's fitness. All adds up to a comfy 55-35 or thereabouts. Artem can't arrive soon enough.
  16. Not sure hence the word could He got 13 at Peterborough on Monday, he is inconsistent. But from memory he's usually half decent at Poole and I reckon he'd have got more than 4.
  17. Could have been really close had MPT been there. Fair play Scunny.
  18. Spot on. Speedway riders are self employed, if they can't work due to injury then why not get away while you can. Common sense I'd have thought. If the insinuation is that he's not inured then that's a different matter entirely.
  19. Difference between riders being available and riders being available who the club can afford.
  20. I would too but one can assume that Brady/McInnes has stepped forward to finance the deal and that Tomalin couldnt/wouldn't. I would suggest we are talking an awful lot of money.
  21. The mooted team will be much better at home with those two rather than hit and miss guests and Hans. Probably not away but winning at home has to be the first priority.
  22. Just seen it, that's an absolute shocker
  23. Son of the Animal - Jason Crump There were loads of others back in the day but I can't remember them!
  24. I agree on Jorgensen, and he is good to watch at Lynn and always gives 100%, not sure Klindt and KK fall into that category. However I think Klindt can and probably would score much better riding at 2, 3 or 4. Probably better than Jorgensen. Kvech would be great but I can't see them shelling out for Laguta and somebody else from the continent, I expect it to be a rider already here.
