  1. Absolutely, hence my using of the word GENERALLY. There will always be the odd anomaly.
  2. Don't think Emil will come so based on that Sheffield BV P'boro Wolves Lynn Ipswich Leicester However there are only fag papers between several sides so the liklihood of that being correct is remote!
  3. The age thing is to do with potential really, the younger a rider is the more improvement they generally have in them. You are quite right, their Wolves averages in 2023 will be a great barometer but as things stand the only direct comparison is Championship figures and Flint is comfortably ahead.
  4. That wasn't the point being made though, it was an argument over Cook being better than Flint even though he averages over a point less despite being four years older.
  5. Hume, Mountain, Heeps, Starke in that order for me.
  6. Absolutely, I appreciate that Guy Nicholls could fund it but I just can't see it happening personally, whatever somebody's wealth that would be an awful lot of money to part with for a sport like ours. If it does happen it would give Ipswich the air of the 1998 team and all the hidings they handed out.
  7. If Ipswich can afford what Doyle and Emil would command then good luck to them but can't see it personally.
  8. And also not being open to the possibility that others might be more in the know. Perhaps it might be lesson learned.
  9. Yep big seasons ahead for the Cooks, said it last year and they rose to the challenge. Both need to step up this year along with taking on Premiership berths, be interesting to see how they fare.
  10. Die hards probably, and those who wish to wait until team is confirmed can do so and buy them then. Everyone's a winner.
  11. I think its called living rent free in ones head.
  12. Absolutely, you will always get extremes. Balanced posters are the most preferable.
  13. Posters who challenge the status quo and don't toe the club party line are refreshing on here IMO.
  14. Worrall is good round most tracks, unfortunately at Premiership level he lacks any kind of consistency.
  15. Absolutely agree, the best race tracks still have home advantage. Scunny another good example.
  16. Absolutely, I think Oxford's season hinges on those two really. I kind of feel that Heeps is a busted flush but Jenkins looked good at times last year and hopefully he can kick on in 2023.
  17. Assuming all remaining signings are as rumoured then I'd go Glasgow Poole Redcar Oxford Scunny Edinburgh Plymouth Berwick Brum
  18. Good luck to Jack, impressed me at Lynn last year before breaking his wrists and was doing OK at Oxford too.
  19. Of course it's my opinion, that's why I posted it Scunny are dark horses for me.
  20. Assuming all remaining signings are as rumoured then I'd go Glasgow Poole Redcar Oxford Scunny Edinburgh Plymouth Berwick Brum
