The continuing decline of Speedway

Wasn't there a " robbery " there when the evenings takings from a meeting where stollen ? -
Terrible news , thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult time

I've always felt that the owners of these abandoned buildings and sites should be made by the local authorities to keep them in a decent condition instead of allowing them to crumble into a state of disrepair and end up where demolition is the only option

It seems to me that we've been here before . When the new promotion took over at Birmingham a few seasons ago weren't we told they had plenty money and everything was looking great then what happened ? Before BMR bought the club was there a period of due diligence, where any background checks done by The BSPA or SCB to ensure they where fit and proper people. This type of situation can't be allowed to happen again the speedway authorities needs to wake up and realise the sport is dying and work together to save the sport. I really hope the Rockets return sometime in the future it was always a favourite place of mine to visit.

How where they supposed to know that Gareth was going to execute his master plan and end up in that side of the draw and be playing on that particular date ? As has already been mentioned the game should be done and dusted by the time the speedway starts -
If wee don't purchase it someone will then and we'll be paying a loan fee to them

With the sad demise of Rye House I assume their assets will return to the BSPA , should Berwick consider purchasing NBJ's contract to add to our asset base ?

Does the promoters licence now go back to the BSPA ? And are the people involved barred from holding a license in the future?

Probably the biggest crowd of the season for what was one of the poorest meetings of the season, overall result was a foregone conclusion after Friday night , can't say that there are any heats that will live long in the memory or that are likely to make it onto the end of season highlights reel , struggling to find a positive from the meeting TBH

Why would Glasgow step up and lose local derbies against Edinburgh and the other northern clubs , I would be financial suicide?
