Very sad to see but it's a typical tactic of an owner of a site/building when they're refused planning permission,you just allow it to crumble and become dangerous, & dilapidated then eventually the planning permission will be granted as the local authorities will be glad to get rid of an ugly eyesore .

I'd say attendances at Berwick where up at the start of the season but that's to be expected with a new promotion in place , they dipped after the Glasgow ht 15 fiasco, then seemed to be about the normal towards the end of the season , local derbies at the end certainly helped as far as I'm aware the management seem pretty happy with crowd levels but of course would always be happy to see more folks coming through the turnstiles

Davy Watt's only a reserve, there's a good chance he won't even get a ride

Really enjoyed last nights meeting, a great way to end the season . I have to say though the ice of the victory was very surprising, I know Sheffield had some bad luck but that's speedway, we've had a fair bit of bad luck ourselves this season . Good strong performances all the way down for Berwick can't complain about any of our guests they all filled in admirably , Kyle Howarth showed is liking for the Berwick circuit and was great to watch , I have to admit though that Josh Bates gave me a few heart stopping moments though . There certainly seems to be a feel good factor at Berwick at the moment and it's great to go into a close season without having to worry about next year for a change .

A tough end to what's been a tough season . Will the winning streak continue ? It's going to take all the riders to be on their best form if we are to round the season off with a win , losing Jye just made an already hard match even harder , just hope it's a decent meeting with some good racing and everyone stays safe. Best of luck goes to Nick tonight , pity about the fixture clash but I guess that's just the way things are in modern day speedway
