  1. Thats my point - how can Poland insist he rides NOWHERE for 14 days Yes not within 14 days in Poland but if his time out within UK rules has expired and he felt fit to ride then Poland should not be able to dictate
  2. What has Poland got to do with it? Others have missed UK meetings with mandatory concussion suspensions yet still ridden abroad That said I was amazed he was even announced as having a chance to be fit for it in the first place!
  3. Fair comment re my titling - perhaps just a little naughty Dont get me wrong Im dont want to knock it and I am very much in favour of the new set up (and how Glasgow are attempting to drag the sport up from its boot straps generally) Just dont see it as outrageously terrible that Lambert misses it in the circumstances Given that the set up only came into play just before the SON any other plans were only ever going to be last minute this season - and for that effort I applaud them Hopefully next year with full planning an exciting new programme can be integrated and fully supported
  4. You obviously feel far more strongly over this matter than I do which is why Im less inclined to defend a position Ultimately there are far more important things to get worked up about than 1 rider missing a hastily arranged friendly, even one tagged as a test match
  5. Almost right - no rider full stop - not just reserves
  6. Jarek a Polish licence and at least £5k a meeting more than we could afford Huckenbeck I thought had ruled out Britain in favour of concentrating continental commitments
  7. Any Premiership rider brought in has to British upto 6.84 (converted 8.90 available) or average under 6 if not British (7.8 converted) I dont think there are any British riders left that fit the criteria and any non Brit is giving up at least a point from the team building total Guests and even r/r seems better on the face of it unless theres something small and fluffy lurking in someones headgear......
  8. Danny very unlikely to ride again this season https://ipswichwitches.co/no-immediate-return-for-king/
  9. Its not that unusual for riders to book short breaks like this - who can blame them its a tough regime for the top boys. Its rarely happens that late changes like this cause problems
  10. Consistent decisions at least - very much the same reasoning as Jacobs in the past
  11. That would be about 2.7 in Prem Isnt that still above Smith?
  12. Poole are starting to produce what was expected from the start of the season and now look to be in pole position to not only reach the play offs but dictate the way they are shaped by finishing top
  13. You may find the post boring but it was the truth Poor meeting - little worthwhile racing/passing
  14. Nah - Im more than happy with the point Ive made I'll leave you to your fantasy world of attracting back the stars with the shirt buttons available
  15. The granting of said facility would be the breaking of the rules Going back to my previous example of a team wanting to track a team totalling 42.51 - if the MC were to sanction it would you regard that as not breaking the rules? How about a double change using the combined average of the 2 riders rather than coming back under the limit. Thats not within the rules but hey lets just get the MC to sanction it..... problem solved
  16. None yet and none if Josh rides at Leicester None if he rides in Poland and a no facility guest is used None if he rides in Poland and a full facilty is used but Josh is given a 28 day ban Only if he rides in Poland Poole use a full facility and no further action is taken are any rules broken
  17. Isnt the addition at home 5% (actually I see your calculation is 5%) However I dont think it applies to reserves
  18. Poole of course have had control of the situation by choosing to sign and retain a rider on a Polish licence - just the same as where clubs have had to deal with the Denmark situation The regs re any facility or not should therefore be followed - to not do so is just plain wrong What next - a club wants to sign a rider but it takes them to 42.51. Should that club just say "Dont penalise us - he wasnt riding for us when he scored those points so it was outside our control" Sounds ridiculous? Yes it does - but ignore one regulation and where does it stop......
