This year was nowhere near our worst season, finished bottom before and crowds have still been pretty good,Crowds have halved to what we got 5 years ago.Since the new silencers came in the product has dived and so has the crowds.

Don't blame the riders, they shouldn't have to ride on a ploughed field just to fill the coffers of BSI,PZM .Amazing how temporary tracks have suddenly improved since this farce took place . Coincidence ? -
If I remember rightly Tai had a good season in Poland and Sweden in 2014 ,and was in a run off to finish 3rd in the World.Problem was in 2014 Tai declined to bring his best equipment to England, feeling he could get away with inferior kit to his Polish/Swedish/GP gear.Confidence was not the problem inferior equipment was

Crowds at Wolverhampton this year are the lowest I've seen in my 29 years of regular attendance.

Matt Ford - One Of The Greats?
New Science replied to BWitcher's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Matt Ford and Poole remind me of Don Revie and Leeds utd .Admired but never be loved. Good news for Poole is as champions they qualify for speedways champions league,if they can be arsed. -

Ah how nice Champagne and fireworks . Hang your head in shame Matt Ford.! If Poole fans ever wonder why their team and promotion are disliked them then tonight's after meeting antics sum it up. Champagne and fireworks all round as long as we win.If we don't win then stuff your champagne and fireworks, its cancelled Charmless winners Graceless losers -

Well done Pirates Well done Aces excellent grand final Well done Craig Cook .Been a critic of his in the past seeing him as a Premier league bully, but has shown real class this week, hope to see him excel in the World cup.Nice to see Matt Ford on the mic,oh Matt if you could only be as graceful in defeat as you are in victory. -

How many teams in Elite league history have drawn or lost the first leg at home and gone on to win either the semi or Elite league grand final. -
Pretty sure the deal CVS has with Ladbrokes states a minimum number of meetings to be held on a Monday night.I believe its 20 + There's no way an Elite league is going to run on 7 home fixtures. And on the other hand how are riders just riding in the Elite league supposed to make a living ?

Great to see Mr Castagna at the F.I.M leading a 1 man crusade to improve safety. To quote Bradley Wilson Dean in this weeks Speedway Star "I've ridden with an old silencer and I know what they are like. With the old silencer the bike doesn't stop in that sort of situation. With the new ones you hit some grip and the engines die and you lift. That's why they are so dangerous". In trying to improve safety you are largely trying to rectify a situation that you and you alone created yourself. -

Think a bit of deja vu going on with this tie, as with the semi.Read" all to play for in the 2nd leg" as "great job done by Poole" who will probably win comfortably on Wednesday. -

Play Offs Should They Be Scrapped.?
New Science replied to stratton's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Fans can wish for what they want.Bottom line is Sky want the play offs and so do the clubs. End of discussion. -
For "its not a time to party" read " we haven't sold enough tickets to make it viable".Wolves have finished bottom of the league before and still had a presentation evening .The presentation evening in the last few years has gone from a 4 course meal at a top hotel to chicken in a basket at the stadium,With the fan base shrinking year on year no surprise the end of season night has gone belly up.

Don't know what Pearson is on tonight, track perfect, massive crowd. Can he not see the 3/4 bend, there's about 10 people there. As for the track I think wet and tacky, definitely not perfect.I see the fudge with Kennett is paying off already nothing but corrupt ! ,
