Nice one Ghostwalker, I really appreciate these threads Is it just the Piraterna meeting going ahead, Can't work it out on Svemo And you really think a Piraterna Win? I was thinking about backing Smaderna -4 but now you've said that i'm in two minds maybe I should back Piratena +4 but they weren't good last night -
Exeter Falcons V Cradley Heathens 26/06/2015
Wiseguy replied to Wiseguy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You know, I wish people would come on here more and pick me up on a spelling mistake or the fact its in the wrong section (although technically there is no correct place) rather than comment on how great it is to see a defunct team get back on track -
Taking a break as he has blown up his main engine and his other one is not suited to the Kent track apparently Hope all works out for him

Well, first off, I had no idea where to put this fixture, not really anywhere for teams with no homes, So as Somerset are the hosts, this is where its going Absolutely fantastic for Falcons fans to have a team to support, even if it is for just 1 night, and it has to be said a massive thanks to all at Somerset for having us Obviously Exeter have no riders, so a team of guests have been chosen, with the exiting Bradley Wilson Dean at number 1, the rest of the team is made up of Danny Halsey, Lee Payne, Luke Chessell, Connor Coles, Tyler Govier and Harvey Banks. Cradley have Ben Morley riding at number 1, with Matt Williamson ,Aaron Mogridge ,rider replacement - Nathan Greaves, Ellis Perks, Adam Sheppard + A.N other I know the Falcons are running coaches from Exeter for the meeting, and hopefully there will be others making the journey, I will be driving down from Kent should work commitments allow Hopefully a decent crowd come out in support, Cradley fans travel in their numbers so fingers crossed for a great and safe meeting You honestly don't appreciate how great it feels to be starting a thread about an upcoming Falcons fixture, and really hope this is the start of something, but for the moment, Lets enjoy what should be a great meeting between 2 great names in the sport.

Seems to be a pattern forming here

They say aaron is unavailable, surely it would say adam is also unavailable if that was the case, I read it as a permanent switch, nothing against adam, hope he continues in the mdl and returns to the national league a better rider
-
I think if things carry on as they are, the dejected faces will be absent faces And once they've gone they may never return
-
I don't think Aaron has done that bad this year, but when we started the season he was our 2nd highest average behind Ben Bare in mind Shanes came in on 6 something and Danny on 4 something, and they have both improved What everyone is in agreement on is that Kent can't be successful with the 3 lower order riders, and there is the problem, Kent either carry on and write the season off or they make some changes, and unless people want to see the back of Shanes,Danny or Ben then Aaron has to be the one. Personally, I would have Danno and Jamie as 6 and 7 and let Sheppherd ride 8 if he wants, if you get rid of aaron it allows for 2, 5 pointers although I am unsure who is out there with a 5 point average and is available what happened to Freemantle? I suppose the only other hope is that Len can tempt another motocross rider across like he did with Danny and unearth a gem but can lightning strike twice. Just out of interest what would you do, would you be happy to let this side continue until the end of the season? I guess we won't be winning the league anyway as its probably to late for that now, the 4s a possibility, the knock out cup, only if we make changes now.

Think this meeting confirmed what we already know about kent, If I was making the decisions I would let baseby go, and free up a few points to make the bottom end stonger, but I'm not

Go Speed International Statement.
Wiseguy replied to Fromafar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
COVENTRY have issued the following statement on Friday June 5: COVENTRY Speedway notes the statement issued by Go Speed International Ltd regarding the Coventry v Poole fixture on Monday June 1. Coventry will be providing the relevant authorities with statements of fact concerning the events of last weekend, and Monday itself, to prove that the statement issued by Go Speed International Ltd is incorrect and damaging to our club’s credibility within the sport. Evidence will be forwarded to the BSPA and the SCB. As a club, we are so incensed by the debacle of Monday evening that we are seeking a full enquiry into the events, and we call on all parties to hold a meeting where all views can be considered when the evidence has been compiled. We trust the SCB and BSPA to consider our requests for the meeting to be re-staged. Allowing Poole to retain the four league points gained in such unsatisfactory circumstances impacts not only Coventry, but all other Elite League colleagues who are still striving for play-off qualification. -
What happened to the PL list? even NL? cheers

Have only just seen this, Dave, thanks so much as I believe it was me that asked for it in the first place Have only managed a quick look so far, but absolutely bloody brilliant Andy Campbell won races against Hans Neilsen ,Shaun Moran, Chris Morton, Jeremy Doncaster, Billy Sanders and many more.....wow also confirms what I have long thought....Phil Crump was the best rider bar none around the County Ground (in my lifetime) And Stefan Deser...forgot all about him Anyone who thinks guests are a problem in the sport these days, look at how many Exeter used this season Thanks again Dave, excellent work

Kent V Kings Lynn Bank Holiday Monday 25th May At 3pm
Wiseguy replied to dave1075's topic in National League Speedway
Must have missed it, I thought I checked the website, saw the national league 4s announcement, apologies, there was no mention on the speedway gb national league section, not really too puzzling Easy win for kings today, not impressed with the young stars, they tried, but apart from campos and cockle they were poor Branford was great, as was Shanes and Ayres, thought Danno looked better, onwards and upwards -
