Swedish Elitserien 2015, Round 3
Wiseguy replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
unbelievable, we have 2 weeks of speedway missed because of the rain, and now there are due to be matches, eurosport decide to only show 1 hour or maybe that is why they are only showing an hour, either way, I'm gutted, stick a link up if you find one racers and royals, would be much appreciated -

Good luck Kent, without Greenwood I think they should be able to hold on to the 14 point lead What kind of crowd do the storm get in comparison to the bees? do people go to both ? -
The Exeter Falcons Facebook page has said he has lost his battle with cancer aged 51 Ex Falcon, Peterborough, Coventry and Belle Vue rider, I have some great memories from of him our disastrous 1984 season and returning several years later to ride again for the falcons RIP Frank

Kent Kings V Mildenhall Tigers Nt 04/05
Wiseguy replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
Can't see Baseby improving that much by a switch to 2 or 4, he rides 3 at the moment, if he goes to 4 he will be in 3 of the same races he's in now, if he goes to 2 he will be in 3 races with Morley Should have kept Connor Coles imo, Thought the track was graded after heat 7 and 10. I would go with Shepherd and Couzins for a bit longer, both seem to be improving, if no improvement by June maybe a.n.other. Had to laugh at Danny's Basil Faulty style tantrum on the line, thought he was going to fall to his knees on the centre green and start headbutting the floor -
Is there not talks regarding a new site at Haldon,Tony? not the original ones at the racecourse but nearby? It's my dream to see Exeter race in Exeter again, although I am now exiled, I know loads of Exeter based speedway fans who were bought up watching speedway and would love a team, I don't know of many that made the switch to supporting Plymouth, although a few that did go to Somerset Do Exeter have a the financial backing to start up again ?, is it just the planning that is causing the problems Thanks, and keep the spirit of the falcons going, you do a fantastic job And if I ever win that damn lottery.....

Kent Kings V Cradley Heathens Nl 27/4
Wiseguy replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
Wow, crazy, from what could have been a close meeting, can now only see an easy win for the Heathens So much so that I'm probably not going to go now, will stay home and watch elite league on sky instead -
Does anyone have the scores from the Exeter Falcons development meeting at Somerset on Friday? Fantastic to see the Falcons racing again, despite it only being a few one off meetings Great for Somerset to facilitate us as well, Much appreciated Talking to my Dad the weekend and he is hopeful the Falcons will return to Exeter sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed

Kent Kings V Cradley Heathens Nl 27/4
Wiseguy replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
Good to have Danny available again, makes Kings fairly strong at 1-5, hopefully Adam Shepperd will go into the meeting full of confidence after last week, though in Perks he will be riding a far better rider than he faced last time out Would love the kings to get a much needed win after losing every fixture this season so far, but worried the wait will go on, it is Cradley after all, and personally think they will win the league at a canter, If clegg and perks are off form Kings have a good chance, but doubt they will be. -
The Kings should move into at least the PL imo. they have the crowds to do so, The NL is great, if you have no speedway at all like what Cradley Birmingham and Eastbourne have been threatened with, or for clubs like Coventry, kings Lynn Rye etc who can use the NL for what is supposed to be, bringing young riders through If you are a stand alone club like Kings or Mildenhall then I think Pl is the better option providing you can get the crowds to be financially viable I'm sure Kent get as big a crowd as I have seen at other speedway venues although you can never be sure as crowd size has always been hush hush for some reason Whatever happens regarding Lakeside, I just hope speedway remains in Kent for as long as possible, whatever League they choose to be in

Its still available, just listened, fantastic memories
-
Any reason why Couzins wasn't riding? would have thought the more time on the track the better This event could have been used to find a decent number 8, not sure helping mildenhalls reserves get track time was beneficial to kings but good result for Adam, hopefully he will continue and his confidence will grow

Lakeside V King's Lynn 03/04/15
Wiseguy replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Absolutely no doubt as your team you know more than me on the situation, but i watched Lakeside last season a few times, and Beck and Lawson as two and four were fantastic, but to have both as heat leaders, I fear you won't win away enough to mount a play off push hope i'm wrong, and you can't drop Lawson, so beck would be my main concern
