  1. Get over it, if it was your team/money you could sign whoever you want 🥲 but the promotion have signed batch over cookie so get behind the team UTC
  2. As already mentioned THJ had a big fall out with speedway in the grant era at Newcastle, was a good sponsor to speedway in all areas not just Newcastle and worky. Was living part time I scaryport, wonder if anyone local has seen him. As for jenga not heard a peep for a while
  3. Grandstand holds around 2000 add 3-4000 temporary seats on 3rd 4th bend, that's 6000 seats and 2000 on backstaight. So looking at 8000 per day, 16000 total, over 2 days more than most other stand alone GPs so will probably make money after costs of temporary seats, just hope tickets are sensible priced, £50 ??
  4. Mr Cook went missing either on track like at poole, after being brilliant the nite before at Plymouth, was totally missing at Redcar, and missed the key meetings towards the end of the season, may or may not had a good excuse being a new dad or injured, but appears to go missing most seasons these days, but on his day can be excellent. Batch last season was way better than expected, whether this coming season is the same, let's wait and see
  5. No airports in Cumbria so got to go to Manchester to get a flight to a GP abroad
  6. That's seems expensive, 11 meetings at worky £200 for a bronze ticket, silver £240 including parking and programme is better value.
  7. Comets freeze admission prices 😁 https://workingtoncomets.com/admission-prices-frozen-for-2025/?fbclid=IwY2xjawHKQphleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHev1d6vXfGeXGFU8obkGEg8hG-hEQWSVLD00MqftxeVlfwSvZ3CQFhIu6Q_aem_Jd5DpX2j7Wb6FVu0i339fA
  8. As far as I can see their are going to be a development league and a development trophy competition. Workington along with the 4 southern teams Plymouth Kent Birmingham and King's Lynn will be in trophy. Which for worky is a he'll of a lot of travelling for mostly young kids, same for the other teams. The 6 other teams will be in the NDL. Unless something has changed since it was announced 2 weeks ago
  9. Will William cairns ride for the Comets in the development league trophy matches, and belle Vue in the development league it's self
  10. 1 Worky 2 Redcar 3 scunny 4 berwick 5 Edinburgh 6 Oxford 7 Plymouth 8 Poole 9 Glasgow 😜😜🤣🤣🤣
  11. Most of them would not know good speedway racing exsist, it's gate and gone at wimbored road
  12. Dan wasn't hanging about on the golden, and unlike the lay down which spins and revs a lot, the upright seems to drive all the time
  13. Wasn't too bad at the track, and it was in very good condition, nice to see Dan riding an upright
  14. Dan Bewley was at a worky practice session today testing a new bike for next year, an upright golden 😁 also practicing was William cairns
  15. Couple of interesting people at practice William cairns and Dan Bewley, Dan was on an upright godden, and looked good going round and on the pace with young William
  16. Today at northside arena is a season ticket sales day (cash only) also a practice day so get down and buy yourself an early Xmas present 😆 UTC
  17. Been trying to get a team place for 10 years, but very rarely signed for a 2nd season so probably not good enough imo
  18. Been trying to get a team place for 10 years, so can't see him signing for anyone in 2025, yes Glasgow used him, but the numbers fitted
  19. Looks like a few long journeys though, Kent Plymouth King's Lynn and Birmingham, lot of travel expenses required
  20. The polish rounds only have 12500 seats and sell out, Warsaw is 55000 and was sold out when I was there in 2019 and 2023 so got to buy tickets early
  21. Just so you don't feel left out @Gazc🤣
  22. Jakob hook next and that will pis@ off @lewy even more 😁
