I don't think it is. The most recent MA is used, that's clear. His most recent MA is from the Championship in 2025. If the most recent MA is one from both leagues, so for example with Chris Harris for this year, his championship average applies in the championship and his premiership average applies in the premiership. To me that's really clear.
I don't see it that way at all. It doesn't matter which league the most recent established MA is in, that's the one which is used for the next time they ride, unless they had one in both leagues in the last season. I guess we'll find out. 😁
No, I disagree. The most recently established MA is his championship one, so that's what will be used, or are you saying he didn't establish an average last season? Official figures are reported as 8.08 for 2025, it doesn't matter what league, unless he got one in both, which he didn't.
I don't think that's an issue - why rebel against not being paid by scoring less and thereby earning less when you do get paid. The fact he was riding at No.1 in 2024 and is now down to 5.89 suggests a rider on the downward to me rather then plenty in the tank. What he does have in his favour is that he's not a gating dullard.
Common sense maybe. There haven't been any serious accidents at Foxhall in recent years where the air fence has been a detrimental factor, not to my knowledge anyway.
