Can't be any worse than some fat boy/girl singer
-
I'm not on anyone's back and age doesn't have anything to do with it - some riders have been top stars when younger than Boughen and others novices in their late 20s (John Louis for one). He's been riding bikes since he was three and has travelled the world doing it so I'd have expected faster progress if was destined for greatness. The forum is great as it allows opinion & I've given mine - of course it could turn out to be an incorrect forecast, nothing is certain.

Favourite Speedway manager.

As a fan John Berry & Tim Sugar (😉) & from who I've dealt with, Mick Hester. -
He's not going to improve in my opinion, I think he will realise that for himself soon.

Poole vs Oxford BSN 07/05/25

The newness of an engine makes little difference it's how it out set with the other components which matters, alongside the rider being able to ride it! -
What was more annoyong was the lack of attention to the track as it dried, just waiting for the standard grading after every 4/5 heats wasn't enough. When there were other gaps after crashes or two consecutive rides it should have been graded and watered then as well. However, when Doyle was behind, he made short shrift of those in front of him!

Presumably Castagna is a temporary replacement? Makes them much weaker I think.

But Thompson scored the same as both Doyle and Emil as it included bonus points and was from for programmed riders only. Think it was only MJJ who was a no show. -

Blodorn would've been a better pick in my view. -

Hume, was that really the best they could do? -
For such a small troupe, speedway riders seem to get a lot of that, think I've had it once in my 56 years. Leaves you unwell for a few days as it's not the same as just a bit of diarrhoea for a few hours.

Ipswich v Oxford Thursday 10th April

All teams have been built with total averages within a few points of each other. The massive victories for some sides just show they've ridden better so far - they cannot be explained by the comparison of established averages so this has to be recognised. As Phil has said, many teams will look a bit different later in the year and of course riders may just ride better (or worse) in future meetings. I wouldn't expect another tiny score from Kurtz at Foxhall, or from Emil at Birmingham and I look forward to that because predictability makes the sport dull for me. -

Didn't go last night but saw it was another whopping. This fayre is clearly appealing to many fans, I'd rather there was some tension with the results but will be there for the playoff meetings if they stay injury free.
