  1. You make some very good points, perhaps someone from the management would like to respond.
  2. Morris and Stokes confirmed to be riding so a minor shuffle with Grondal going into the top 5, and Scunthorpe using RR for Davies. Weathers ok at the moment.
  3. Interesting that Robert Lambert (broken finger) is now not riding for Lynn tonight which surely calls into question the guest facility that Newcastle had planned for him as that now surely should be RR. Clearly if LINDGREN is also missing a guest & RR will be applicable.
  4. Not sure the Morris deal will be ratified in time by the BSPA for this match, so I am assuming it's still RR for Simon Lambert.
  5. Both teams look to be running RR now with Davies getting hurt yesterday but I still think this will be a lot closer than the earlier PLC match, especially after the Scorpions put one over on Glasgow yesterday. I am expecting more from Perry and Grondal tomorrow just hoping the weather is kind.
  6. So when and how did Robert Lambert end up with a broken finger?, Kings Lynn web story is a bit short of detail.
  7. Which is why I said you cannot take Scunthorpe or Berwick for granted.
  8. Hardly, this is Scunthorpe and Berwick not Somerset, clearly you cannot take Scunthorpe or Berwick for granted but Scunthorpe look like they lost Davies today who was taken to hospital following a crash against Glasgow. Looks like RR for both teams Tuesday.
  9. A good opportunity for Perry and Grondal to bounce back to form
  10. Which ever way you look at it this is a bad result for Glasgow whose away form this year is awful. Surely it must be dawning on people that Bach isn't any better away than Barker.
  11. The collectors Fayre next to the stadium always have a good selection of GP programmes and quite a few track shops now sell them, other than that EBay is a good source as well.
  12. Good GP and the whole show was very entertaining, the racing got better the longer it went on but it's also clear the track held up well. Not sure about the new press conference maybe if we could have heard it it might have been better but second bend middle tier it wasn't clear at all. It did look as though the crowd was slightly up on last years
  13. Peterborough did it during the Rick Frost era after Mick Bratley instigated it in the bar, very popular for a while.
  14. Trouble is it only really suits Poole at this moment in time which is why he is bleating on about it again.
  15. If Somerset stay injury free I cannot see anyone getting near them, They are a bloody good team and think they are going to walk the league this year. Rye House beat them in an early PLC match at Rye by 3 points, since then they have won every other match.
  16. I don't doubt Panthers will be attempting some kind of result tomorrow after their poor showing in the first leg but it's clearly not going to be easy. Weather for tomorrow is good so hopefully no problems on that score, Panthers again at full strength.
  17. Planning & Preperation Prevent Piss Poor Performance It's not rocket science is it.
  18. Sounds like Cook thinks the same after his comments on the mike according to updates.
  19. And over the last few years the fans have been voting with their feet which is why it's strange that clubs still do it, clearly the organisers must be thick biased or both.
  20. And that is most likely to be the overriding factor, never mind that the whole thing is supposed to entertain the paying supporter it's a guaranteed 3 points and almost guarantees Lakeside to make the play offs. As for everything else they get stuffed, entertainment value zero, away fan attraction zero, passing fan attraction zero. And while this sort of mentality continues amongst promoters this sport will just continue on its downward spiral, I dare say in a few weeks times Cook and others will again be bleating at the lack of support. Most cannot see the wood from the trees. And next week the GP circus rolls into Cardiff, all the top riders, entertainment, fan zones, razzmatazz and the turnout from the supporters, numbers of which the BSPA can only dream about.
  21. Whilst I don't doubt that some fault for the circumstances could be attributed to both clubs the fact remains that this whole situation does nothing for the credibility of the EL, which is at deaths door as it is. As a spectacle it won't attract many Poole fans to attend (if any) and won't attract many passing fans either, so it's likely to be a poor attendance and with Poole basically being pretty weakened it's looking like a big payday for the Lakeside team which then impacts on the wages bill for Jon Cook. Remind me who wins in this situation.
  22. Glad it cheered you up, after the season you have had so far I would be on suicide watch. Saddled with 5pt averages that both are making a mockery of, nothing courageous about it, May did his homework. A very very good side with Allen in particular another Brady Kurtz in the making.
  23. Any weather reports from the area as I know a few Panthers fans are coming down for this and yesterday's forecast didn't make particularly good reading. Both teams at full strength so could be close.
