Lambert certainly doesn't miss Monday's match at the Showground, that's why it's a 3.00pm start -

Anyone starting this year with an EL GSA of 6.00 and above is ineligible to ride or guest in the PL this year, as we subsequently found out with Thorsell. North was 6.57. -
What the need is to go back to a decent race formula that provides proper and accurate match averages which are fair to everyone including the reserves.

I think you will find a lot of promoters post on here Neil, most of them under pseudonyms. See the latest Peterborough news Shawn -

I rather think that comment sums it all up nicely -
Belle Vue -v- Swindon Monday 17th August
bigcatdiary replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Pretty straightforward actually basically the race starts with 3 riders. 18.15.7 In order that a Rider takes the "minimum" number of rides, then changes must be made to a Heat Line up, (excluding any nominated or Highest Scorers Heat) or sufficient Heats must start with no replacements. -

It depends on how the team is put together, but he would be one of the first to get my vote, I have been very impressed with Simon this year, his attitude, dedication to the team and commitment is spot on. -
I rather suspect Humphrey already knew that.

Not quite, he will have an effective average 7 days after he completes 4H & 4A.

Absolute rubbish, and as others have said if Lawrence felt one of the riders was at fault he would have gone no matter who he was. -
Elite League 2016 - What Is Required?
bigcatdiary replied to 1 valve's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
EL needs to run on 2/3 nights that the PL don't or vice versa that would cut out all the crap with doubling up riders missing due to clashes straight away, Monday's and Wednesday's would be the obvious choice allowing for foreign leagues, GP,s and FIM meetings etc. Allowing anyone to D/U would help as well, if teams want to use a big allowance on one rider why not as long as the conversion factor was accurate, perhaps a mean average across the leagues with the riders that do it could be calculated and used the following year. -
Leicester V Lakeside Sat 1st August
bigcatdiary replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Changes once teams are declared shouldn't be allowed, I can think of a couple of senior referees who don't allow it and that's clearly correct other than for injury or illness. Allen is just making excuses for what was a poor performance, Jesus when you get beaten at home by Lakeside surely things cannot get any worse. -
Ipswich web site not updates And for the record I think the texters do a cracking job on updates, I tried also to be fair when I did it for 3 years.

I agree with the others just a racing incident, both riders going for it and OSTERGAARD lifts and they tangle down the back straight. Interesting that the same web site viewed the recent accident at Scunthorpe as accidental, funny that.
-
Glad I am not the only one to think along those lines, not sure quite what the doctor/paramedic was thinking about allowing that.

Lovely comedy moment by Tatum during heat 3, "tracks gone really slick already Nigel" Kelvin the tracks been slick its entire history.

Glasgow V Peterborough (26.07.15)
bigcatdiary replied to em1500uk's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
To the best way of my knowledge and belief referees generally do not exclude riders under the 2 minute rule when they are under power on the track and going towards the tapes. The only exception I can think off is the referee who excluded everyone this year who wasn't ready to race, whether at the start line or not on a sky match this year and made himself and the sport look ridiculous. -
Malilla Gp July 25

Which begs the question why therefore is the Lynn track these days complete and utter pants. I thought considering the problems with the weather the GP was very good and was certainly one of the better ones so far this year, the racing was very good with passing in most heats. -

Well regular rain hasn't exactly stopped Vojens staging GP,s or other big meetings, it's very unusual for it not to rain at that place. And of course Vojens as well. -
Could be interesting, because suspended by the SCB in the rules provides a facility only and teams missing one rider 2-5 by average are entitled to RR only.

Don't think he is eligible like R Lambert and Grondall, at the moment our fours team is Ostergaard and MPT. -

Suspected dislocated shoulder reported on the Peterborough web site, hopefully not as bad as first feared.
