  1. BWD should score well in the Championship until he gets hurt, unfortunately that’s his Achilles heel he gets injured regularly. But whilst he is fit and well I don’t see a problem.
  2. I am sure it’s no coincidence that both teams have recently lost riders that they were banking on for 2022
  3. And after Poole’s bleating about the way he left them it looks likely their will be.
  4. We will see, he could easily do what Batchelor did as well, a lot of people were expecting great things from him this year and the reality is very different.
  5. That would be the most logical solution but this is the BSPL so we will wait and see.
  6. Your not, it has a lot of question marks. Everyone invariably backs their team but as this year showed team spirit and an excellent team manager makes a big difference.
  7. And don’t underestimate the effect that riding with Batchelor could have on the rest of the team, their is a reason Batch has ridden for most teams in the Premiership.
  8. In previous years the seasons final GSA used for the following years team building, are normally ratified and approved at the AGM before being released.
  9. A few Panthers fans seem reluctant to include Ostergaard or Andersen in the team for 2022, not quite sure why because both contributed well to our last two Champions years of 2006 and 2021 and it’s clear they are well liked by both the fans and management. For what it’s worth I think our side will be little changed for 2022 on the basis why change a team when it’s clearly a winning side, obviously one change has to be made for the retirement of Pedersen but other than that I see little point in unsettling what was clearly a great team that rode well together and clearly gelled from day one.
  10. I thought Sheffield and Belle Vue were pretty strong this year but neither kicked on when it mattered.
  11. A new consortium who declined to buy the Showgrounds tractors and equipment.
  12. It isn’t, read the advert, it’s the East of England Agricultural Society selling THEIR equipment.
  13. Peterborough Panthers Speedway Supporters Club have been running what we call a 100 club for years, members pay £10 a month and 50% of money collected each month is paid out to 3 lucky members. Its been running for many years and provides the owners with cash for a variety of articles from air bags, fence panels, track equipment, shale etc or just funds to pay the maintenance bills and running costs associated with a speedway club. Keith Chapman is the latest owner to benefit and has remarked on it several times, this is in addition to the 50/50 raffle at every home meeting.
  14. All the equipment sold belongs to the outgoing SHOWGROUND owners, all the speedway tractors and track equipment is in the speedway compound or at Lynn under the control of Buster Chapman. The new Showground owners declined to buy the existing equipment so it’s been sold. It doesn’t affect the speedway at all.
  15. All the speedway owned equipment is in the speedway compound.
  16. Well Peterborough certainly didn’t get anything, they didn’t even supply trophies for either team in the final.
  17. What’s strange but not unusual is no statement from Len Silver denying this or explaining what has happened.
  18. To be fair I think he needs all the help he can get.
  19. Exactly how many of the BSPL five year plans lasted more than one season.
  20. It’s easier to just ring Pinegen and pay for one over the phone.
  21. I seriously doubt he will be on Peterborough’s list.
