I suppose though that every track has a different levels of finance coming in and outgoings depending on sponsors rent and ownership . Eg Glasgow/Poole to Scunthorpe .

What about rider costs, tuning, etc, surely this must be addressed to look at the vicious circle of the pursuit of speed which affects wages and drains clubs finances ?

Interesting reading in the Star last week regarding the Swedish League set up where most tracks saw an increase in crowd numbers but some were still left in financial difficulties. Yes different structure and maybe financial restraints to the UK but begs the question was the incomings far less than the outgoings ie rider payments?

I read far less I the star o the winter as it mostly goes over the previous seasons news apart from a few rider interviews Yes I realise news is quieter this time of year but more in depth items are needed If possible

What is disposable income though sounds like putting money down the drain , I see many doing just that though , expensive mobile contracts, Netflix accounts , sky contracts and the dreaded Mac Donald’s Kentucky fried chicken and pizza hut….don’t get me started on red bull and monster 😕 All a lifestyle choice ….where do we go from here Now back to Speedway will it be Four teams (not really viable ) or five teams which hopefully be the case till we can limp into 2027 when who knows what will happen, probably one League anyway ?
