After last weeks win over the Poole Pirates the Comets will be looking for more league points when they take on the Scunthorpe Scorpions. The start time remains at 6pm and gates open at 4:30 pm, hopefully another decent crowd will be in attendance to cheer on the Comets.

Poole are still favourites for the League in my opinion , beaten by the better team yesterday . Some of the comments by Poole fans regarding sacking riders is rather crass. I must mention Tates pass in heat 5 , 😳 As Roy said like a knife through butter !!

Glad to be proved wrong...a great team performance by the Comets team who all looked up for it from the start and all worked hard for every point. A good boost for the Workington management , staff and fans after recent weeks. Well done Worky.
