  1. Right now this is possibly the worst GP ever, only broken chains for Cook and Janowski has lead to any passing. Maybe we should be keeping Gorzow on the GP calendar instead of Krsko.
  2. No problem with the tape rule as it is now, though I take your point regarding semi finals and finals. On another point how about teams showing up with the correct number of riders i.e three. I enjoyed the SoN but teams with no Under-21 reserve was a big let down to the competition.
  3. Rain it is. Gutted for Zagar to miss his home SGP especially with the form he has showing, bit set back in his fight for a top eight place.
  4. And I dont agree with any of them, Berwick were indeed winning at the time the meeting was abandoned, that`s a million miles away from a guaranteed win. Where I do agree though is why the meeting was in this position in the first place. We`ve just about had the warmest, driest summers ever so just how any club cant get their meetings run by the cut off date is beyond me. Getting an easy to follow, coherent fixture list that actually means something has to be a must for next season.
  5. Sorry but if this was a Premiership play off meeting this forum would go into melt down, two hours gone and we still haven't had all 15 heats and the majority of the meeting going with a green light start.
  6. Mixed night for our top two in the Championship Riders Final, Aaron Summers finished with a creditable 8pts and just missed out on the semi final where Kevin Doolan finished well down the field with only 3pts.
  7. Very much job done for Stal Gorzow, though you have to feel for the home side losing Zagar.
  8. Berwick have done well to stay in the play off places this long, but it was only going to be a matter of time before others started to over come the gap. Now for Berwick to get back into play off contention they will need to win at the very least one of the remaining three away meetings at Ipswich, Edinburgh or Peterborough. Sadly something IMO that is beyond Berwick.
  9. Berwick now have two representatives with Aaron Summers coming into the meeting
  10. Aaron Summers named in the Wanda Krakow side for their fixture this Wednesday with Gdansk, same day as the Somerset fixture with Wolves. https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/86071/arge-speedway-wanda-krakow-zdunek-wybrzeze-gdansk
  11. Those with BT Sport will have the delights of watching NB Jacobsen as he guests for Leicester in their meeting with Kings Lynn. Busy day for him he has already guested for Somerset in their meeting with Poole where he scored 6pts. In the same meeting Aaron Summers scored 2+1pts.
  12. It was reported that Bewley faces a six month recovery time meaning it will be touch and go to be race fit for the start of next season. Best wishes to him.
  13. By the time ref No2 has done his checks the race will be half over, in other motor sports when a driver/rider has jumped the start they get a time penalty, obviously that can`t happen in speedway. Maybe we could let the race go then exclude the rider after the race though I quite like the starting rule in SGP at present, though some riders seem to learn their lessons and get warned every GP.
  14. http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100992 As above.
  15. More than likely though banning a rider from a complete GP is going to far IMO, taking 5 - 10pts off a riders total would be much more affective.
  16. Nothing to do with Workington IMO, Lakesides cock up it appears.
  17. Correct decision to fine Janowski for his pit crews behaviour as it was way out of order, it's something that has kept into the GP series of late and needs stopping now, in fact if fining the riders doesn't stop it then take points off the rider. As for the GP it must have been different to be in the stadium as I found largely dull. Great night for Vaculik and a very clever ride in the Final, seemed to me that Szmarzlik and Dude were to busy looking for each other. And once again another decent night for Woffinden, he has been at his best of the last couple of GP but has yet maintained a very healthy lead at the top of the standings.
