Best start applying for loans now folks because I've got a feeling now they've got the exclusive it's going to be big bucks. I for one won't be paying for it if its big money, I'd sooner do without and just watch the GPs. Be careful Don't want you spilling the contents of your half empty glass. Speedway fans never stop astounding me, they all want the sport to be massive but there are so many who are always bloody negative. On Facebook the BSN post says details and prices of packages will be available by the end of February, first reply is how much will it cost !!! 1

I was just as vocal about this on Facebook as I am in here. I'm an avid supporter of the sport and I'm often on the team of "stop being so negative" but it's been bloody hard to try not to be this winter 😂

marko
A fixture list is only a guide really, the weather and the nature of the sport means even more than ever a meeting is in the balance unless it’s been dry for days and zero rain is forecasted.

Yes but to get to a fixture list various dates are avoided due to fixture clashes or unavailability of riders/stadiums, then if a rain off occurs it's got to be squeezed in usually just before a cut off date

Hawk127
That does seem good value for 48 meetings and being able to spread the cost will encourage a few more punters. Well done to BSN

IainB
Hmm... doesn't say that the PL Pay Offs are included in the Premiership/Season pass 🤔🤑
Hawk127
21 minutes ago, IainB said: Hmm... doesn't say that the PL Pay Offs are included in the Premiership/Season pass 🤔🤑 You are getting the rest for just over £5.60 a meeting so to pay a bit more for the play offs is still not a bad deal. The only possible downside is that more may stay at home rather than pay for fuel, entry fee, programme and possibly parking and if that adds up on average to £30 it is a no brainer to those on limited income. Many would forsake attending live if it is saving them over £20 assuming it is just one person attending. If it is a couple or family the saving is even greater. You can't beat the live experience though, the sights, the sounds, the smell... and you tend to not let your vision drift away to look at a lamp post whenever somebody falls off or miss an after race incident because you're busy filling your programme in... although to be fair some do seem more interested in filling their programme in than what's going on around them lol 😂
Steve Shovlar
Well I have just paid up. £38.99 a month for 7 months is a no brainer as it’s the only way to watch UK speedway other than attending. It’s far better than Eurosport for production and the commentators know what they are talking about. Looking forward to seeing what the first batch of matches will be.

That’s probably why some people no longer attend because the supporter is a secondary inconvenience to the people who run the sport. Just look at the way they have conducted themselves in the close season.

Just look at the way they have conducted themselves in the close season. A sport, in the UK, simply set up for a few dozen riders so they can earn money... And set up so some people, with enough money, can have an expensive hobby which they love being a central part of... The fans being invited along to help subsidise the costs, and keep them within reason for the person whose hobby it is... UK Speedway is no more than this.. The BSN package looks excellent value for money for "generic fans", who just enjoy watching Speedway without bothering too much who wins and who doesn't.. Hope they have a good season with plenty of subscribers. Edited February 25 by mikebv

The Premiership Pass has a small price increase this year with the same amount of meetings as last year" With that said I'm going to hold off on subscribing in case it gets added to a service I already pay for.
Neila
Was just gonna post that info. But if these talks are similar to the winter talks regarding new track the season will be over before the talks are finished 😀
