So what are you suggesting ? All league fixtures should be programmed for April to July, leaving August free to cover any rearrangements ? Then we potentially have a whole month of nothing prior to the playoffs. That will really build up the excitement.

They could run the KO Cup during August...?

Or maybe it would just be easier to not give such an early deadline?.

Plan for the play offs after the GP's have finished,  and no riders will have their World Championship positions to focus on, and provide plenty of time to complete the season....

It doesn't look "professional" no matter how some try and justify/excuse it that any sport is still running qualifiers (which would have impacted the final reckoning), when the finalists are already known...

Totally agree that the deadline was the problem, and that playoffs should have been delayed till all league fixtures were complete, but I think TV had some influence on the dates ?

I'm just getting fed up with the constant snidey digs from people that the fault for it raining in August somehow lies with Sheffield !!

The night Kurtz didn’t try apparently, he scored 4 points , away from home , on a cow patch. The same night Ipswich number one Emil , scored exactly the same. Wasn’t he trying too ? Or did he have them ongoing stomach problems he obviously suffers from ???

There was definitely a difference between the way they rode and attacked the track that night. Kurtz didn't bother.

Looks like operation average drop is in full swing :D

It is sometimes a good thing that no one outside the "Speedway Bubble" takes it seriously isn't it? :D..

Screws up any chance of its growth and development, but at least it saves the embarrassment that scrutiny would bring...:D

Not Sheffield or Ipswich’s fault tonight

Sheffields season is over and Ipswich have bigger meetings to come so it was hardly likely to be competitive …. Ipswich riders just staying out of trouble with minimal effort

Im sure we will have some sheffield numpties on soon

Do they get to choose their opponents for the semis?

Or is it just the fourth team? :D
