We offered Poole the same date next week also

Assuming that was already saved as restaging date for the playoffs then which i guess is priority.

Which is interesting as they said if meeting wasn't today, couldn't be done til 24th.

Yes what is it with all these Tuesday meetings? They used to say we had to race on a Wednesday or crowds would be low.

Crowd will be low but club know we have to stage the tie ASAP

We're at Oxford on Weds 17th.

Well just to chuck fuel on the fire, the forecast now looks fine until about midnight. So what's your conspiracy theory?

Says 8pm on met office but rain seems to be coming across slower than they thought as it just seems to keep getting pushed back an hour when you get close to the time.

If the meeting is called off early because of a forecast for rain, which doesn't then come, can't do much about it.

Imagine the meeting was called off at 19:30 with Poole ignoring a forecast of rain, they'd get lynched on the forum especially, plus stadium rental / travel expenses etc.

Should award the tie to Redcar if it’s been called off unnecessarily.
That’s the way to stop clubs like Poole and lynn from tactical call offs

I can't see how this is as tactical call-off. If Poole really wanted the second leg, they simply wouldn't have offered a date till they raced at Redcar first!

Besides who would make the decision on whether a call off was necessary or not? What happens if multiple play-off matches were postponed, team in 4th could become champions without having to race!

It’s slowed up in the Channel now and not due until 9.30. The main bit has just changed direction and headed north which was what we were due, massive shame.

It's very annoying but to be fair looks like some rain close to Poole atm Screenshot_20250909_190132_Chrome.thumb.jpg.ee0d68c8de649c448f8dfffd0855eee7.jpg
