Glasgow vs Poole KOC SF 2nd leg 7/9/25

Recommended Posts

'Just as with the first leg, Glasgow will be without Villads Nagel, this time due to a Polish fixture commitment, whilst Max Perry continues to be ruled out through injury. The Pirates will be unchanged.'

Teams: Glasgow (TM Cameron Brown) 1 Chris Harris (Capt) 2 Jason Edwards (Guest) 3 Dan Thompson 4 Leon Flint 5 Kyle Howarth 6 Freddy Hodder 7 Jordy Loftus (Guest)
Poole (TM Gary Havelock) 1 Richard Lawson 2 Tobias Thomsen 3 Lewis Kerr 4 Zach Cook (Capt) 5 Anders Rowe 6 Paul Starke  7 William Cairns

Will 14 point lead be enough? 🤷‍♀️

Glasgow won't pull it back with that team. No Villads, no win.

I take my hat off to any Pirates fans who are off to Glasgow on the off chance of it going ahead. My weather app shows a pretty dodgy forecast at the moment.

Is Nagel really that key? (I haven't had a chance to see him race) if so just as well he's got other priorities. Mind now Anders has his gating gloves back Poole will be stronger.

According to 360Speedway Nagel is on borrowed kit as well.

‘Is Nagel really that key?’ Just look at his scores.

Yes Nagel is the difference between Glasgow cleaning up everything or winning nothing. He is a serious talent, and have the same effect Tarasenko had for Glasgow a couple of seasons ago.

The forecast is dodgy in the extreme for Glasgow tomorrow and I would imagine the Glasgow promotion are itching to press the ‘meeting off button’, knowing full well they will be dominant with Nagel back when it’s run. The travelling Poole fans are either very brave and determined or foolhardy! But due to the Glasgow promotions insistence of not providing any other way of watching the match, they are left with no alternative. Well done to them.

If your a true speedway fan, you follow the team on the terraces home AND away 😄  fair plat to the dedicated/stupid pilots fans doing the journey. Done several myself this year as a worky fan

Going by the updated forecast for tomorrow it is now showing heavy localised rain between 1pm and 9pm.

I would say an early call off is on the cards saving people the travel.
