They are coming from riders themselves . Riders talk, especially when they haven’t been paid, mechanics talk even more, more so when they are owed money . There are very few secrets in the pits. You should hear the figures from Poland !

THE DEAN MACHINE
Something that never gets mentioned about Poland and their huge pay structure is riders can also get huge fines/deductions from the clubs for sometimes the most innocuous reasons like mechanic wearing wrong team shirt at a match or not displaying PGE extraleague sticker on back door of van or whatever but one thing it does do is get 100% dedication from the riders, it gets discipline and as a result you get a product that has credibility

The White Knight
There is a lot of negativity on here, and little wonder. Our Sport seems to be staggering on being wafted around like a leaf in the wind. I don't know what will happen when Rachel Reeves starts increasing this Tax and that Tax. I feel that disposable income in most homes will be needed for food, mortgages, rents, fuel, electricity and gas etc.. Things are very bad at present - things could get even worse soon for all of us, not just Speedway Supporters. I sincerely hope I am wrong, but I'm afraid I cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel. Sorry.

Agreed White Knight I don't like putting boot into promoters as most must be losing money to different degrees every single year . You look at this year and think god help them if no tv deal, some top men leaving, whoever the lamb is at Northampton being served up to save the top league and seeming these people have no idea of business plan costs for Northampton already and looking to run at Oxford for the first year. I forsee a situation where they will most likely chuck it in after one year at Oxford and realise they are on a hiding to nothing and not bother with Northampton in 2027 and hopefully haven't bankrupted themselves in the process. We are probably beyond the point of saving now sadly its just gone to far certainly in the top league bar Harry somehow getting the arabs involved or he can talk Amazon into doing a program like "Clarkeson's speedway track"

Not good enough, I'm afraid. But crucially, Speedway is supposed to be a Sport. Naturally, Supporters like to know what is going on. Not everything, of course not, just little slips of information. Supporters like to feel involved in their Sport. After all, these Supporters are their Customers, their bread and butter. Sadly the attitude to the Speedway Publlic, and indeed the General Public seem to be the old mushroom theory - keep then in the dark and cover them with ****. They'll be back next Season. Doesn't work these days.

You/we are customers of the people who run companies who will be attending the AGM - and if you don’t like what they decide on what they think is best for the sport the don’t support it. Meanwhile they will continue to try to get things right at their expense ….. and suffer the consequences !
