Steve Shovlar
The top two battle it out for the championship. Glasgow finished top by a point and are the favourites coming into this with basically five heatleaders in their team. But Poole are showing good form overall. Weather looks set fair. Nice cool evenings. Poole: Lawson, Thomsen, Kerr, Cook, Rowe, Stark, Cairns. Glasgow: Harris, Nagel, Thompson, Flint, Howarth, Perry, Hodder. lbw
Looking forward to attending both meetings in wot will be an epic finale for the Championship League Title 🏆 There's no doubt that Glasgow 🐯 boast a strong top 5 but they av a weak tail which will be exploited by we PIRATES ☠️. After seeing the PIRATES strength and determination at the business end of the season every rider 1-7 are very capable of beating anyone. C'mon the Boyzzz ☠️ 💪

C'mon the Boyzzz ☠️ 💪 We should beat Glasgow at home (unless Nagel decides to get double figures!) But we really need at least 12 to take there to have a decent chance imo especially with Max having a good meeting there in the SF. If he does that again will give Glasgow the depth they need. ASpeedwayfan
Pooles reserves are going to need to be the match winners, they have to have the beating of Glasgows 6/7 in almost all their races, home and away. Hopefully Anders will be well enough to ride to his 100% as there can’t be any passengers. Edited 10 hours ago by ASpeedwayfan

Has Nagel ridden at Poole before? Pooles only real hope is that he and their reserves don’t get double figures between them. Glasgow will turn up with fire in their belly’s after their rather bitter previous visit to Poole. They’ll want revenge.

Our reserves should not drop any points against Perry or Hodder but Perry has been better lately so if he gates he may get some points. Going by the highlighted comments, at least you’re admitting how the Poole track rides……lol

C'mon the Boyzzz ☠️ Well two weeks ago I wouldn't hesitate in making Glasgow favourites, but the recent run of Redcar matches has been good for Poole building confidence and giving them momentum. Sure Nagel and Thompson etc are a potential threat, but their performances also depend on how Poole let them ride. Should be a great contest, hoping for a good result at Wimborne Road, a plus 12 lead would be a real result for Poole.
szkocjasid
Could go either way, wouldn't call either team favourites
Gavan
Poole fans talk absolute tripe It’s not about who finished where in the league it’s how teams get on against each other Ipswich struggle against Kings Lynn at Foxhall because their riders go well there and in comparison Belle Vue who are a better side than Lynn according to league position can’t ride Foxhall for toffee and get thumped there Poole have won at Glasgow and only lost by 8 as well this season At Poole , Glasgow have lost by 14 and 24 Poole should win comfortably over 2 legs final league position has nothing to do with it , its about how certain teams go at certain tracks
Bagpuss
Glasgow's recent inaction and the weakness of their reserves would comcern me a bit as a Tigers fan, Poole have a fair bit of momentum at the moment and know how to get the job done at the business end of the season. Glasgow will need to keep things tight in the away leg to have any chance.

They are riding tomorrow though so that should get the cobwebs out ready for Wednesday and Flint guested for Redcar last night, Dan T also rode in the play offs for Ipswich. Cant see Glasgow reserves giving us much trouble but their top 5 are very strong, Nagel is their new tarasenko,we need 10-12 point lead in my opinion.
