Have to totally disagree there, King is definitely Number 1 material. 2nd highest away average in the whole league behind Sam Masters (9.30) Plus won 49 heats in total, Only Masters, Lawson and Harris were ahead of him.
Woke23
Any ideas when we'll hear news regarding signings? Fully expecting Tate and Hook back next season.

Sounds like he is our new No1 then😃. I like Danny great professional and team man. He goes great at the GT Tyres Arena. What I question in the No1 position is, is he the man who will go out in heat 15 and win you the meeting. Time will tell by the sound of things 👍🤔😃

Only made around 4 out of 16 heat 15's last season at home and didn't win one.

Danny had a hand injury so it had to be managed, so he took fewer ht 15s. Danny is a quality rider, but he is also good with younger team mates giving advice and helping. He's a great team man.
topaz325
Bit of a trek from his home (Ipswich area ?) to Workington but many do it , would make s good No1 .
Fromafar
Danny would be a good No1 in any Championship Team .

Plymouth or Edinburgh, somehow can't see him back at Plymouth he goes well at Armadale generally so they will definitely see him as No1 material. I don’t have any statistics but I always felt that Danny (great rider that he is) was one of these guys who was prone to go missing in heat 15 tussles. Nobody wanted him in Prem so it was Worky or sell the bikes ?? Incredible really for a guy who was once a Grand Prix Rider who rode in 28 GP's. He is getting on but was only 38 in August so still has a few years left in him.

Ryan555
What are Workington fans thoughts on whether Vuolas will return? He seemed to take a real liking to scunny last year so wouldn’t mind him!

I believe that was the case in his first season as Workington seemed to be really late to declare they were running and sign a team. He did well enough that year to be retained for last season. I think it is the inconsistent scoring from him that put some teams off. On his day he is a top rider but looks bang average too often. I don't know what causes it but his scores are more up and down than most others. If someone could find the key to make him fire on all cylinders in every race then they would be on to a winner

Neila
I would take batch back for another season at worky, especially on around a 7 average, would be a good 2nd heat leader if we get an out and out number 1 .
