Chips
I remember hearing Kelvin say at the GP over the weekend that Doyley wouldn't mind coming back to the premiership - he's obvioiusly not going to be a direct replacement for Bewley but he does like the NSS, and he's an aussie so would fit in quite well with the team / management. No idea on whether his average fits, I would assume so. Might even free up some room to replace another rider who's not performing as well as expected. He’d need to bin off one of Sweden or Denmark first before he can race in UK. But if the money is right I’m sure he’d drop one, the Poles don’t call him ‘Dollar Doyle’ for nothing 💰 Edited June 8 by InTheDeepStuff

And seeing the riders fly down the straight, and cut across each other, at full speed, at the last moment on that third turn, is incredible to see...

He most likely left because there wasn't a guarantee the Witches would come to tapes in 2026 at the time. ouch
Jason is nearly a point under Dan and Dan’s CMA is 1-2 points under his actual 2026 Speedway Star figure so whatever we do it’s no kind of replacement. Looking at final 2025 figures, Jaimon is marginally higher than Jason so if Northampton agreed we could have Jaimon and they could have Jason. A GP man lining up for them might produce a bit of press and we could keep our family intact rather than sign a journey man. TTT
Here's what I think will happen because it's British Speedway after all where unprofessionalism and under-handed tactics eventually plays a role. 1. Belle Vue will use Guests until Matej Zagar has made a full recovery. 2. Once Matej Zagar is fit we will get a statement from Northampton about how delighted they are to bring Matej Zagar back into their septet only it won't be in place of Jonas Jeppesen, It'll be in place of Jaimon Lidsey because Northampton have been so impressed with Jonas since he joined the Club. 3. Belle Vue then sign Jaimon Lidsey and go on to win the League.

ouch
If it was me I’d have guests at the NSS (mostly Jaimon) and RR away as nobody cares about away meetings and it will save us a bob or two to spend on a decent signing for the last five days of our qualification campaign. A top GP man might come over for those last few days before the play offs and then it’s all to play for. For RR away I’d run Peter, Brady, Brady, (one a TS), Zach & Zach (15). That should allow us to keep losses close then use our massive home track advantage* to secure bonus points. *Copy write BSF
