After all, wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago he was posting a photo saying he was back with his British mechanic for 2026? Failing that, if Sayfutdinov and Doyle are off the payroll, could there be a move for Robert Lambert? only for the playoffs!🙃

It might be a case as others have floated maybe in 2026 the weakest two prem sides are amalgamated into the championship and the top three try to put decent sides together with a view to having a euro league with Sweden and Denmark given half the riders are based abroad it probably wouldn't be much more expensive flight wise and the likes of Harris, Lawson, Pickering etc could still double down. Closing the club down for a year is very likely to decrease its value further particularly in a downgraded ‘one league scenario’ for 2027. Also, it’s easier to sell a business that is still trading. Taking an offer now could be preferable to a reduced offer or even no offers following the 2026 season. Perhaps, he is hoping for a 2027 model that is more to his liking and continuing to run the club after a seasons break. Only time will tell.

THE DEAN MACHINE
There was a rider who flew in last week to do a deal with Ipswich and catch up with some friends and he was with another top rider, don’t know if a deal was done for either of them though

In an ever shrinking sport, where your only assets are some Speedway related fixture and fittings (plus a couple of tractors), and sponsors can sometimes be only there due to following specific riders, who may no longer be riding for you, and no TV deal... The valuation will be very much up for some huge negotiation you would imagine...

I'd snap their hands off unless he knows something we don't

poole keith
If Louis has a lease then surely he'll have to pay the annual rent whether there's speedway running or not,if he doesn't have a pucker lease then he doesn't have much of an asset, hell, matt fords been waiting year's for a decent offer for Poole speedway haha

InTheDeepStuff
Whoever does take Ipswich forward in 2026 I can see Musielak in that team, his mechanic is based there and can put up good scores around Foxhall
