The £2m debt mentioned is actually £2m in creditors and the figure used is from 2023. Direct quote "...the last update on Companies House stating it had creditors worth £2,005,715 at the end of 2023." Speedway at Oxford is in no danger. I believe a lot of that money “owed” is also director loans that they have no intention of calling in

TigerIain
"Oxford Cheetahs team for 2026 is complete with the double signing of 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 and 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗲 Wood" Think this team will be in contention for trophies, albeit a little bit weak at reserve, yet so were Glasgow last year and they finished top of the table. Both reserves have Championship experience from 2025, but it needs one of them at least to kick on and up their scoring.

He has been riding a while now and still a low 2 pointer. Ritchings on the other hand is a good signing in my opinion who could improve and put a point on his average.

I believe Ritchings has been actively riding for longer than Wood has he not? Solid if unspectacular reserves to go with a very good top five.

Yes your probably right, maybe a late developer, he impressed me when he rode for Poole, almost to the point where I would not have been disappointed if he had stayed.

Didn’t think he done too bad last season Dayle. Was a late convert to speedway think he’ll be a decent addition.

Ritchings career consists of a 7 year gap prior to last season. Prior to that his tier 2 career consisted of a handful of matches for Ipswich in 2016.

Didn't help his progress after several seasons out for Poole to kick him out of the team 😜

There was some talk at the start of last season that Craig Cook had convinced Wood to change his bike frames and that had helped his riding but it didn't seem to translate into points. From what I seen he seemed to fall off a bit too often last year. Good gater, which always helps at reserve level and he does have a years experience, so could improve slightly. Personally I'm not a fan of his (especially after seeing him attack Stene Pijper after losing to him in a send half race at Ashfield). I would have went for the more experienced Jack Smith. With 2 solid second strings he would have stayed at reserve all year and could have ended the year on a 4-5 point average.

Woods bikes didn’t look the best handling wise, they did look to have a lot of power. I think it was morris that ended up doing a heat on woods bike and it was very very quick but did look a handful even with morris on it. Maybe a bit lacking in experience when it comes to setup. I think if he can get the handling right he will stay on it more often. I think dayle did a good job this year and I expect him to do well next year. I would have wanted him back at Berwick before smith who just seemed to go backwards this year.

Had a full season at Berwick bar the opening 2 / 3 meetings and dropped a point off his average. He’s not a kid anymore.

TTT
Top heavy but if Riss is fully healthy then him and Masters are virtually unbeatable around Sandy Lane. Erik's Home PREM GSA this year was Over 9.00.
