I predict that the top 4 teams will be in a play off. The 5th team Ipswich will finish bottom ! 😲

Top three teams progress to the play-offs (All play-off ties raced over two legs)
The league leaders go straight to the Final, whilst the second and third-placed teams will contest the semi-final...

That’s a random prediction. Given only 2nd and 3rd will be in the play off knock out semi final.

Given that the two leg semi final will be a lucrative pair of fixtures, will we see teams "manipulating" their final league position to finish 2nd or 3rd rather going for the top slot? It's not like you get anything for winning the pre playoff league is it?

Ipswich...5th

If Northampton come to tapes...Then Ipswich 6th

Top 4 is a different proposition, they will all look to win at Foxhall, some will, Ipswich could win some, and we know the team can change quickly. and they certainly will need to,but

1st Sheffield

2nd King's Lynn

3rd Leicester

4th Belle VueĀ  To be fair those 2 could swap places

Out of the 4 Confirmed Teams.

Ā

1. Sheffield (Strong Spearhead, Second Strings who've yet to reach their peak and are likely to improve again, Etheridge is much better than his 3.00 GSA who was riding with an injury when signed last season)

2. Belle Vue (Needs drastic improvement from Blodorn & Zischke imo but Kurtz/Bewley put up so many points so it's hard to see them outside of the play-offs)

3. Leicester (Huge potential throughout the Team imo, Loyal Riders to British Speedway who will all turn up every week, The Top 5 are all capable of increasing starting GSA's imo)

4. King's Lynn (It's a better side than what they've had in previous years granted but who in the Top 5 is actually going to increase their starting GSA? I don't see where the improvement is but that's just my opinion)

5. Ipswich (It's a Team built to win at Home imo, May have a little outside chance of finishing 4th if Musielak can get back to his Sheffield form and if Hellstrom-Bangs takes to British tracks well)

2026 Champions (Sheffield) They'll walk the League if everyone stays fit imo.

This is something I pointed out when it was first muted as an option (and since adopted)

The fairest solution is that the team that finishes top get a share of gate receipts from the semi final participantsĀ
