Maybe some within the Echo Chamber are actually now seeing what we the fans have seen for a long, long time, and, maybe, they realise, finally, that the writing is on the wall if they don't adapt, modernise, and change?

This close season, maybe, has been the huge wake up call some needed? Some who had previously refused to acknowledge the clear issues by sticking heads firmly in sands, given the sport delivered what they personally wanted out of it .

Including journalists who maybe have just gone along with the "there is no other way" narrative peddled, for too long, given many will be "mates" with some of the promoters, and know what they do and how much money they put in..

Speedway desperately needs critical thinkers, who can come in with a fresh pair of eyes and look clinically at the operating model and business plan, without being influenced by historical decisions and close relationships...

Dispite all this now being well and truly in the open, thanks to Mr Barker and todays speedway star, just seen a post from Ben saying he and others have still had no further communication from them in charge 😲. Wondering if the riders will stick together and take things further ??

Speedway doesn’t need this, we are already on the cliff edge

I agree. It doesn't appear to be the rider's fault though.

Changing conditions and, alledgedly, not notifying Riders of the changes seems wrong, especially where Insurance  is involved..

Read with interest the comments from the new Ipswich promoter, he had a few strong comments to make in diplomatic language but it was clear what he as saying - BSPA a shambles!

It doesn’t really matter who’s fault it is, it just needs sorting and sorting now, it’s a problem that should never raised it head in the first place but we are here and it needs a quick satisfactory solution

I know it doesn't but if them in charge just go to ground not answering questions emails or keeping riders upto date. The riders may fo Something about it
