A lot of people saying "once the track settles down"... with stock cars being run on it every week (are they running every week?) will it ever "settle down"?

I don't think stocks have a great deal of impact nowadays if you have access the the right equipment ie a blade, I'd say it's more to do with introducing more dirt as there was clearly more of that last night compared to last week. Will take a week or two to bed in, but nevertheless the experienced riders need to deal with it better than they did last night.

One of the riders said they've already managed to add more banking in the last week.

It's hard to see where Northampton go from here, while they had injuries, their 2 guests scored well & Thomsen was able to take 3 of Harrison's rides, so you could argue that made them stronger.

I didn't think they were as weak as Birmingham & Oxford, but the last few matches will be a concern.

New track, he's still young and has a lot to learn so I dont want to be too harsh on Rushen. He has a lot of talent and potential but obviously this was something to learn from.

Yes, but... I've never ridden a speedway bike but have seen enough to know that you don't left turn on riders down the straight, it's Speedway 101. It's an unwritten rule, maybe it needs to be written down... even then you can't rely on today's referees to enforce it 🤷‍♂️

That move and the resulting crash could easily have left Harrison with life changing injuries!

He's still a kid. Do you think there should be age limits due to the dangerous nature of the sport? Got to learn somewhere.

If Harrison was still riding Thomsen could have took rides for Batchelor, Kilndt and Lidsey who didn't look bothered and also could have been used in heat 15 so not sure it necessarily made them stronger.

There are age limits... he is a kid but he's be riding for a number of years now maybe not in such competitive races. Yes he does have to learn, but like I said it's Speedway 101

He should have been thrown out of the meeting... yet didn't even get excluded, bizarre!

In Rugby Union there's an official sat off-field, whose job it is to report anything the other match officials could have missed. The alledly offending player then has to go up in front of "the beak" and either has the allegation dismissed, gets a slap on the wrist (short ban) or a kick up the pants (longer ban).

Most of the bans can be reduced if the player agrees to go on a course.

It was a dangerous move I agree but these things all happen very quickly. From what I've seen of him I don't think he is a dirty rider and luckily Harrison or Scott were not seriously injured so hopefully he will learn from it. The referees decision was shocking he's having a terrible season so far.

If as has been suggested Rushen 'turned left' on the straight then the 2 other riders would have crashed on his inside rather than behind onthe outside, with one hitting the fence?

Nothing to do with age and you shouldn't need to learn by forcing other riders to fall.  He chose to move left - it wasn't something outside of his control.

Have you seen the crash, I'm pretty sure it was on YouTube earlier as I watched it... doesn't seem to be there now though 🤔

Yes with age should come better decision making. Im sure all of your choices as a 16 year old were spot on?
