Pairs and CLRC

Fantastic, pairs at one of the worst tracks in the country. Should be at Belle Vue or Glasgow.

You know what? Fair play, that actually makes a lot of sense, which is not something the BSPL have always been good at.

It does raise the question, using their same logic, why they chose Poole to host the pairs?

I suspect there weren't a long queue of tracks willing to take it on. It's not the greatest circuit granted but its well supported and were presumably keen to host.

A rather strange date and time to arrange this "prestige" fixture....putting it up against the Vojens GP. Also they must be praying that Sheffield Wednesday don't get a home fixture the same day, as that would mean no car parking at the stadium?

Typical BSPL statement….’all go to Sheffield as it's central’ ……..then put the pairs on at Poole !

All they need to do is find a sponsor for the pairs, does anyone know of any firms called blue groove or crap track that maybe interested 😜🤣

There is something called the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester, heaven only knows why it was called this. Touted as one of the best race tracks in the country and pretty central why oh why aren't the Pairs and CLRC being staged there. British Speedway is just exasperating.

I expect the pairs being held at Poole will get a much bigger crowd then if it was being held at the NSS so it’s a sensible business decision.
