Full line-up:

A – SCUNTHORPE: Josh Pickering & Luke Harrison.

B – BERWICK: Peter Kildemand & Nick Morris.

C – GLASGOW: Chris Harris & Leon Flint.

D – WORKINGTON: Jonas Jeppesen & Drew Kemp.

E – REDCAR: Charles Wright & Jason Edwards.

F – OXFORD: Sam Masters & Anders Rowe.

G – EDINBURGH: Dan Thompson & Kye Thomson.

H – POOLE: Richard Lawson & Zach Cook.

I – PLYMOUTH: Scott Nicholls & Danny King.

I wouldn't mind betting there will be a minimum of 3 changes to that line-up! Watch this space.......

I thought this was going to be covered by BSN but apparently not. The Poole live stream will be doing it.

Genuinely an appealing looking line-up in its current guise. Obviously Nicholls looks unlikely to feature but IF the others all attended it could produce a strong show for anyone willing to travel on a Wednesday night however i suspect the big book of excuses will be rolled out once again and what could be a spectacular night will just turn into a shambles.

BREAKING NEWS

Poole Pirates have announced that the new "Pirate Creche" will be opening on this evening for the first time.

Apparently the younger supporters like to bring great great grandchildren a rider has block booked slots for all future Home Meetings.

One wonders what the point is of announcing the line up in that case.

I was going to suggest we run a book on how many drop out given the history of such events...

Will probably end up something like:

A – SCUNTHORPE: Jacob Hook & Luke Harrison.

B – BERWICK: Palovaara & Jenkins

C – GLASGOW: Chris Harris & Leon Flint.

D – WORKINGTON: Tate & Drew Kemp.

E – REDCAR: Charles Wright & Jason Edwards.

F – OXFORD: Sam Masters & Killen.

G – EDINBURGH: Sedgman & Kye Thomson.

H – POOLE: Richard Lawson & Zach Cook.

I – PLYMOUTH: Barker & Danny King.

Anyone of the riders except Nichols who drop out should have a 6 meeting ban across both leagues. Already suspect / heard there will be no Jeppersen, Batch, Kidderman, Morris. Why is the money so poor for this meeting ?

Always is...

BSP pay rates...

So what are the pay rates for the meeting ?

As in actual proof not best guess, rumours, Chinese whispers etc.

According to Dan T in a recent Vlog, the winner of the British Final got £1750, and 16th got £200...

I would presume neither of the meetings mentioned will be getting more...

The winners get 1200 quid each. 3rd place get 500 each. Below that you can probably work it through but you can see why no one is interested.

On his Vlog, Dan T said these meetings can actually cost you money if you don't end up in the top few...

Can't blame riders for not taking up that "great opportunity" can you?..

Now that the CLRC riders have been announced - 2 questions:-

1. what is the criteria for selection?

2. who replaces a rider that may drop out? eg another from the same club or is there some sort of ranking criteria?

See Edinburgh and Workington have 3 riders each with 4 other teams having 1.

Looking at the latest averages on the website Nick Morris (7.84) is above Justin Sedgman (7.07) and Troy Bachelor(7.04)?

As you say we have no idea of the qualifying criteria.

As per the regs

014.8 CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE RIDERS

014.8.1 Qualifying Criteria

The number 1 rider from each team and additional riders will be determined

by MA from the green sheets. A total of 16 riders ensuring all teams are

represented. This will determine the line up for the Championship League Riders

014.8.2  We will then ask all the riders if they want to ride, and see who can be bothered to turn up...

Please attach rider contracts and all 16 payment invoices for the field 😉
