ASpeedwayfan
Brave decision by the ref but he got it right. Anders had his leg across Zach and then out of control into the corner and gave Zach no chance to stay on the bike or get out the way
Tinker
Ridiculous decision to exclude Rowe there. He was in front of the two Poole riders and didn't seem to deviate off his line. Can't believe he's been thrown out. Specsavers ref?

Level down the straight and then went across Zach, clipped him going into the corner and then hit him again, Anders certainly the cause of the stoppage

As for Oxford being allowed a heat leader guest for a non-speedway related illness?! 4 hours ago, therefused said: Bowes missing is pretty pathetic to be honest, it is not a speedway related injury at all and just a convenient work around. Same goes for Oxford. As i understand the rules, even if Bowes being injured off track doesn't count as a "speedway injury" Poole would still be able to use r/r only difference is Bowes would get a 7 day suspension, which only strengthens them more. As for Riss, I believe Oxford only gets a 28 day facility for an illness, so needs to return soon or it's a 75% guest right? He is there, why not earn? Be tough for any club to fit him in on his average now. Too high to replace injured heat leaders (Cook, Kildemand, Dan T) even temporarily. It was announced that Riss was extremely close to returning a week or two ago. So I’d assume he’s back anytime now

If a rider has aspirations of making it big in Poland & reaching the GPs need to leave the Champ behind. I applaud any rider with the guts to give it a go.

As much as I miss Ben being in the Poole team, he was too good for this level, riding in the polish top league and capable of being unbeatable on his day, he’s not too far of GP standard and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see him in them in a few years. If we were to make the step up to the premiership, I’d like to think he’d be first name on the team sheet 1
SteveLyric2
Well that's the first meeting I've seen, for a while -live or streamed - where I've agreed with every referee decision. Well done Pirates, let's hope no further injuries for Friday.

old bob at herne bay
Poole signed 2 of the top prospects in British speedway , once again they will win everything in the championship. Everyone wants to ride for Ford and Middleditch. Maybe they pay them top dollar , maybe it’s the workshop facilities at Baillie House They always get the top youngsters. As long as their supporters turn up in numbers to watch the one sided drubbings handed out every week , they cannot fail.

Sounds like an eventful meeting, pity I missed it completely. Hope the reviews tell the whole story. Who exactly is injured?

Luke Killeen had a fall and was then collected by Ritchings, Luke after being with the medics was up and about seemingly ok
