I would not say Edwards is poor at all, he is a good rider,no idea what the problem is with him though at the moment.

Agree, Edwards had a poor match, Jenkins has had a poor season, big difference between the two.

Nobody knew Edwards,Klindt and especially Jenkins would be so poor. Klindt was very surprising considering he was unbeaten at Poole recently. Everyone did not expect a easy win and it is very easy to say these things after the event. I expected an easy win Rushen or no Rushen. With so man̈y pirates who go great àround Redcar, against the soft underbelly of Redcar (Mulfoŕd Jèn̈kins and Eðŵàrds), it was no contest really

I've said it before granted but Will is showing control, whereas Cooper is still a bit wild. But having said that it's bloody great having both as Pirates. Other way round for me, Cooper has the natural racing instinct a bit like bewley fantastic to watch. Saying that tho hopefully both go far both good riders. As mentioned before Poole really should clean up they have one of the best riders in the league in Lawson , the two youngsters are both on massively false averages. Kerr is capable of anything from 2-21 in a night and loves Redcar, Cook is really now to good for the championship, Newman decent steady eddie rider, which leaves Bowes who when he's not riding r/r makes them even stronger. Just getting one future world class rider at reserve on a 2 point average for a half decent team should be enough to do the job barring injuries let alone snaffling two of them. ONTWOMINUTES
Redcar is fast becoming one of the worse tracks, even home riders like edwards and jenkins who rode fantastic there two seasons ago are having a nightmare. 1

Pirate Rich
Personally I thought it hard on young Harry Sadler to take him out of his last ride with the match and bonus point already won, the lad tried his heart out for us in heat 8

NC86
Poole are going to run away with everything particularly having these 2 great youngsters at reserve , Redcar on the other hand are poor this season in contrast to last season , will struggle to make those play offs. Only Jake Allan came out with any credit, Klindt was poor and Jenkins is a passenger , also Edwards needs to now start stepping up.

Have you watched anything from Poole ? Whilst Redcar is not as good as it was under previous track men it’s still , usually, a good race track and the racing was decent last night just that Redcar boys were well and truly outraced.
Steve Shovlar
We are extremely lucky to have the best two 16 year olds in possibly the world riding for Poole this season. Perhaps Beau Bailey could be argued but he made the mistake in turning down the Pirates for bigger things and has struggled to get as many rides as he had hoped. Last season Will Cairns showed flashes of his ability but after a good first ride it was followed by a couple of zeros. That has changed this season when Cooper signed. Now Will knows he had to up his game and bring his very best to every heat. He can’t have Cooper having a higher average, and Cooper is thinking he has to have a higher average! Both driving each other on, whether intentional or not. The result is us Pirate fans are loving every minute of the season. As 16 year olds they are bound to have off nights, but so far it’s been very exciting. Both will end up in the top 5 with Kyle and Bowes at reserve, but that’s not a bad thing. What we are witnessing is the strengthening of TeamGB, two you lads who will bring ten up a very dull GP series in years to come and both could be the next Michael Lee (hopefully without all the dramas), or Mark Loram. As long as they don’t get distracted by life outside speedway that often happens to talent as they want to be out with their mates etc, things could get very exciting. Us Pirates fans need to make the lost of it. The way they are progressing, Poland, Sweden and the top flight will take them away from us pretty quickly.
