Will be more riders dropping points soon to keep under a 8 point average, so they have a better chance of a team place, if the one over 8 is still in place next year 😜

This over 1 @8 point rider is only for  one year from what I was told

Close meeting throughout with never more than 6 points between the teams . Comets managed to take it to a last heat decider.  I was hopeful going into heat 15 only 2 behind with Cookie and Jonas coming out that we could get something from the meeting. Unfortunately we missed the gate in the rerun and with Flint and Howarth on the outside line we were never able to challenge. Well done the Tigers.

There were some positives notably Cookie showed that he still has great bike control. The pass on Bomber coming off turn 2 in heat 10 was top drawer. Young Max done great in winning the duals with Sam Hagon subsequent to heat 2. Tate gave a strong performance,  it was good to see his confidence continue to return and the fact that he wasn't phased going out into the dirt.

For the second week running I find myself critical of ref Graeme Hunter. Heat 5 the tapes appeared to rise faster on the infield side, Flint shot away and we were expecting the red lights as we thought it was an unsatisfactory start, they never came.

The red lights never came on as they were in Amsterdam.

Maybe Bomber is on “average watch” this season.

If he was on average watch why did he pass Mario in heat 1 when he had no chance of winning the race. He would have got paid the same with a bonus point and could have also advised Mario after the race where he was going wrong, having followed him around.

Hopefully that’s the case,it wasn’t really necessary IMO.If you under the points limit, that’s all that matters.

I don't really like it either but I think the thought process was to spread the limited number ones around each team.

Should the Ref not re-run Heat 5.As it says in the rules that they can use Video evidence when available. It was obvious the tapes rose quicker on the inside plus there had been trouble with them earlier.

Absolutely he should have. He made even bigger mares reffing the Worky v Plymouth meeting, All his decisions penalised Worky , the ones against Plymouth without doubt cost the Comets the two points.

in these two very close meetings especially the Workington v Plymouth meeting I think there are grounds for his overall performance to be reviewed re adherence to the rules and judgement.

According to heat result  on updates he didn’t pass Mario.
