Just wondering: Hellström-Bängs’ ban ended on Friday, 15th, so … maybe the Witches didn’t have a facility, and had to use a non-contracted rider, which Lambert could be classed as?

There's no such rule, if Hellstrom Bangs was withholding his services Ipswich would be due a guest, if he was missing for a reason they don't get a facility for, then it's a "75% guest".

We'll be having 75% guests if we don't get a grip on the the rider shortage.

Lynn should be docked two league points like they were previously. With cooper an injury doubt and a team change incoming they had no intention of ever riding last night.

Should Leicester last week then?

The trouble with dodgy call-offs is that fans lose trust and that is important. No-one will trust Lynn again when it comes to this because they've been caught red-handed before.

It absolutely hammered it down at 6pm last Thursday... If you ask them nicely they may provide the phone number of their weather forecaster ☎️😂

Maybe so,but it was called off the night before on a forecast. And you said it was nice one Thursday, they just got lucky with the rain coming late on Thursday.Lynn were unlucky with the predicted rain coming a few hours later than predicted.IMO no team should be allowed to postpone a fixture the night before on a weather forecast, not just Lynn.

I agree, but....

How many fans does it really impact? 1500 at the most?

1500 who will more than likely be there for the next meeting regardless, given the sport is pretty much down to the die hsrds who accept "anything", so very little impact in reality..

Measure that against flight costs, hotel costs, basic travel expenses for UK based riders, and referee costs, and you can see why clubs call off the meetings early...

Even more reason if you rent your stadium.....

If British Speedway had an advertising campaign and used the strapline ' subject to availability' would that be considered as taking the piss?

Well here’s something to put that piss in.

100%. They weren’t going to ride without their in form reserve, and an out of sorts Paco when they knew full well another home defeat would have in all likelihood ended their season in May.

Very much the same as pit gate-gate, rather than run RR and a guest for two missing riders on Danish international duty, they make up a cock and bull story about a “broken pit gate”.

Kings Lynn are a cowboy outfit run by absolute charlatans and they wonder why riders are constantly buggering off mid-season and show little commitment.

It’s embarrassing.

NO. You’re the first one on here criticising the Mickey Mouse product we have over here, but you can fully understand why clubs just call meetings off because they’re missing a rider?

If the sport is EVER going to sort itself out again and be taken seriously, then absolute pi$$ takers like Chapman need to be driven out of the sport.

I’m sorry but you just can’t have owners running and not running meetings on the fly whenever it’s convenient/inconvenient and basically cheating.
