Im not sure what the issues were but maybe the track conditions caught out our riders. Everyone seemed so slow at first and Glasgow were flying out the gates. End of the meeting provided some good quality racing and im thankful because I was going home a stinker otherwise. Although it doesnt matter, im still adamant tate pipped Harris on the line. I would like to see that one again Nothing wrong with the track conditions.

I agree I thought the track was fantastic today, it caught our boys out somehow, Glasgow just rode it much better at the start. Despite the result, the racing was top notch today and riders having multiple lines available to pass. Fair play steve, I’ve criticised a fair bit but today it was spot on.
topaz325
Glasgow the better team on the day , well done to them . Worky fought back a little bit towards the end of the meeting to make the score a bit more respectable

Neila
No excuses beaten by a better team. Only 4 heat winners and can't win a meeting with this few winners, well done the tiggers, some decent racing towards the end of the meeting

Just hope Max is ok after his off at Redcar tonight 🤔 Sounds like the track had a good even soaking... When I went last year the wind dried up the track quickly and the water bowser didn't exactly soak the surface, meaning lots of dust, and minimal passing opportunities.. Give me ten pints of Stella and I could have p*ssed more... Edited 1 hour ago by mikebv

Been dry and sunny all day with a good breeze, so track had to be watered, 1st few heats very wet, riders could not see if they missed the gate, then it dryed out and a little dusty towards the end. That was when the Comets got more into the meeting, heat 13 and 15 was very good

kevcfc
1st 7 heats were so disappointing as a Comets fan, Glasgow were head and shoulders above us and there was very little in the way of racing. Heat 8 onwards provided much better racing, kicked off by Vinnie having his best ride for a long time. Drew was poor in his 1st 2 rides but looked like he'd finally worked it out in his 3rd, before his bike packed up before the 1st bend in his 4th. Just a shame that by the time the real racing began, the meeting was all over bar the shouting.

You are restricted to probs 24 matches for your club if lucky.
