The 2nd jay cartmel memorial takes place at the GT tyres Northside arena on Saturday a 4 team tournament featuring 5 new to the country Scandinavian riders, some past and present Comets plus a few other riders. Get down and support the young kids memorial meeting 🏁🔵⚪😃

Id love to tell you, but after 11 races in 2 hours I decided enough is enough and came away.

Cook looked good however missed his last ride and then packed up his gear .

all Scandinavians looked ok but hard to tell as ht times slower than normal

dan gylkes looked like hes back on pace and bastian borke 

young harry fletcher also looked good 

but as allready said meeting must be longest iv ever seen

Most of   scandanavians looked good   , Charles Wright unbeaten in four rides.

Vinnie Ford looked impressive slong with Gilkes. 
A long meeting because of the sunny windy weather which dried the track out quickly .

Craig Cook took the place of Mickie Simpson in Heat 18 ( off 15 metres but not sure why ?).  But then Mickie Simpson took Cooks place in Heat 20. So they both ended up with having ridden the same number of rides each (4).

Yes confusing , all riders had 4 rides I think , only started filing programme out half way through busy doing other things

Craig was nominated for a Golden Double ride in heat 18 because his team were more than 6 points behind. It looked like Craig thought he would be starting from the tapes but the rules stated 15 metre handicap. He came off gate 4 and stuck to the outside line getting nowhere on what was a track slicker than usual compounded by challenging weather with sun and strong breeze.  Don't think Craig finished the race.  He didn't come out for his final race in heat 20 and took no part in the semi finals.  Charles Wright also took no part in the semi finals but his team Deadfire Demons won the team event with 30 points. He was impressive being unbeaten in his 4 rides. Of the Scandinavians 21 year old Dane Rasmus Pedersen (9 points) was the pick on the day imo with fellow Dane 18 year old Patrick Kruse (7 points) along  Swedish riders 25 year old Anton Karlsson and 22 year old Ludvig Selvin with 6 points each not far behind.

Did you have your glasses on when you compiled this Neila . Think an edit is in order marra , it is Jay not Jat and  Cartmell has 2 L's .👍

Tried to edit title but can't do it, me spell checker must be on strike, ot it's too many cartmel sticky toffee puddings I've had 😜
