Mr Blobby
Utter awful watch this, move off the white line on the concrete you go backwards. Hagon clearly miles slower than Dan there, Dan moved a touch off the kerb and loses several bikes lengths.

Mr Blobby
There should be a minimum standard for state of tracks, that there was god awful. 4 guys looking to ride within 1 yard of the white line or you’d go backwards. Weather hasn’t been that Hot for it to be in that state. If there was a minimum standard you’d hardly see a meeting round that place. Berwick riders said it was good along with their TM. Maybe they got too complacent with cooler weather 🤷♀️ Edit - next week will be interesting with partial solar eclipse happening between 6-8pm. So light, dark, light, dark. Unless they just start at 8pm? Edited Wednesday at 08:54 PM by LisaColette

Bitza
Judging from Cairns post match comments there were significant track issues, seemed to be OK at the start, but it went off by half-way. Will was riding the wide line through turn 1/2 , then after track grade/water Cairns has a look at 1/2 before his third heat (heat 8)and then rides an inside line and comes third. I'm no track prep expert but I do know about watering and to me it looked like track prep started too late, watering was only skin deep. Plenty of unwanted action in turn 1/2 tonight, Loftus looked concussed, surprised there weren't more injuries, riders lifting, must be a few bent bikes. Not a great advert for Wimborne Road, but a good result for the Pirates. Edited Wednesday at 11:01 PM by Bitza

Not going to bore you with the make up of the lights but they cannot go off and back on that easily🤔🤣

Steve Shovlar
Worst meeting of the season last night by the proverbial mile. Track looked very slick when I saw the track on entering. The track staff watered the track just before the meeting started which perhaps showed not enough had been put down during the day. It was a constant issue through the meeting and the water bowser struggled to keep the dust away. Racing wise it was rubbish. You could see riders busting a gut to pass but virtually impossible. Cairns and Rushen and Dan Thompson trying hard but getting nowhere. Cluff gated and sat there comfortably, having his best ever meeting at Poole. A shame as the place was packed.

I wonder if we'll use him again on Saturday?!

Not sure about tongue in cheek, more like posting before thinking type of comment. See he is back tracking now, so obviously realises it was not a good thing to be saying.

What others wish to take from the original post is down to them. It did state 'to avoid any confusion' as some will have a different knowledge and interpretation of ' the white line'! Anyway I'm off for a game of tennis now so I'll be trying to keep all my balls within the white lines as much as possible, avoiding them all if I can !! Deuce! Agreed, i had a friend with me last night who hasn't been in years and although enjoyed it thought the racing wasn't very good. The blue groove on both bends was awful as well, haven't seen it like that for a few years. Also noticed that several of the track lights were out on the first and second bend that made it a bit dark, not ideal for rider safety
