What next for Tai

Recommended Posts

Good interview with the old swearer, sticks some f-cks into the interviewer straight off the bat lol, can't fault his incredible grit and will to win , shame it looks like he will step away from the sport as he has a lot to give but equally is to smart to be risking his life's earnings on the sport at least in Britain.

A golden opportunity was wasted by not using Tai to appeal to potential future supporters, the younger generation. They can relate to him definitely. I took my daughters to Belle Vue to see Great Britain in the World Cup a few years ago and he immediately grabbed their attention . They’d never been before but he stood out a mile to them. They still ask about him now. I think he could have inspired younger newcomers to the sport. Whatever he does, he’ll succeed. Definitely.

He's moving back to Aus isn't he?

If he's interested he can get involved in the speedway scene down there like Darcy. I'm sure he'd be welcomed with open arms

Would be a strange thing for him to do when he's starting to move in reasonable circles as a DJ.

To be fair to him (if you like that music) his tracks are half decent.

Its amazing the determination of some people, I do a lot of cruising and got talking to a fella who was the casino manager on ship, he was from Peru (late thirties) told me he was orphaned at six , lived on the streets for ten years, got a break working at a casino and ended up running one on Royal Caribean in between all this he was one of the worlds top surfers, and the next day like the old swearer he drops on me in the 3-4 months he has off he is one of the biggest DJ's in South America showed me these videos of him at massive footy stadiums. He looked like a mexican cartel boss but was awesome fella his life story would make a great film.
