There is undoubtedly going to be rider(s) shared across the two clubs I think that’s obvious. Riders putting pen to paper for Wroclaw will also be nudged in this direction. It’s going to be fascinating from an Ipswich perspective this winter, more than usual I think.

On the track, it was great to hear the plans for that and his determination to improve the racing. Altering the shape slightly, uprooting the drains and completely changing the track surface. It sounds like he’s going to do the job Louis announced he would do but shelved due to costs when he realised the work involved would include uprooting the drains. We also know there will be new track curators here also.

Fair play to him. He’s going to make a huge difference to this club, and hopefully British Speedway in general (if he’s allowed…).

It feels like RC is the kind of character we've needed for many years. As has been said the difficult bit for him will be getting people to follow him but whatever he is proposing has to better than scraping by or losing money every season? 

There needs to be a longer term plan and a strategy for growth rather than cobbling together the same old format every year and you feel this fella might well be able to provide that. Every interview he does is impressive.

Very enjoyable and encouraging interview. It’s funny for whatever reason there’s a few posters on here that consistently snipe and hate on Coleman but for me a huge proportion of what he’s saying is what so many have been calling on here for years.  Now we actually have someone coming into the sport at international and club level calling for change and trying the lead the sport to increased participation on and off the track for a prosperous future and people are being negative about him 🤷‍♂️

Its refreshing to have someone with some influence saying “it’s no good just talking about these things, we actually have to get on with making changes for the betterment of everyone”

From an Ipswich perspective it’s great to hear this winter he plans on altering the shape, drainage and material at Foxhall with a view to improving the racing!

Lets hope he gets support from the other promoters otherwise you can see him losing faith and exiting left in a couple of years as other people who have tried to push the sport forward in the past have done.

Nice technical track to sort the men from the boys instead of just throttle jockey.  I have to say it'll give the British based riders an advantage for a change.😜

Richard Coleman is actually going to back all of the talk up.

Very rare to see in the world of British Speedway so hats off to him for it.
