Aries
Generally speaking, clubs would do well not to jump the gun on their team building this year. There could well be good options developing further down the road with riders choosing Poland and GB as their leagues this year and joining the Sweden exodus. If clubs go too early, they could end up regretting it. Edit: On the other hand and I’m contradicting myself here, maybe the best strategy is to strike quickly before Sweden backs down and resolves the tyre issue.. Most away fans won't travel these for various reasons, but the main reason is very high fuel costs , and at the end of the day it's for 15 minutes of racing

Tbf he only missed out in the GP challenge because of an engine failure in his last race and he was only 1 point off winning the European championship competing with established GP riders. They are the determining factors for SGP it shouldn't really matter what you do in other leagues.

Completely different when you are riding a track regularly and not against home riders.

Give the away track 100 tickets to distribute... Not many, if any sometimes, attend now so minimal loss.. For local derbies that do bring a following, then don't do it...
Aries
We could all put our preferred line ups on here and I doubt any of us would name the same septet. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Janowski is a world beater capable of a 9, or even 8 point average here anymore. But for me he’s a seven pointer potentially therefore a point increase. Janowski on a 6 in the middle order makes much more sense than King on 7.27. Not all signings have to Jump out at you, you just have to build smart to be successful. Despite being without doubt our best riders this year, neither King nor Musielak have much (if any) improvement in their averages therefore you don’t sign them for ‘27.

Just speaking for comets fans who regularly attend away meetings in good numbers, local tracks, around 40-75 fans attend, uto 100 at Redcar or Glasgow due to good race tracks and previous good performance by the team. Even the long trip nearly 800 mile round trip 😲 to Poole and Plymouth around 15 fans attending, I was one in Poole
TTT
Janowski isn't the best around Foxhall I agree with fellow members.....However. Can anyone think of a stronger second string combo than Janowski 6.06 and Brennan on a GSA under 6.

If it’s say 34 points for a top five with two U21’s at reserve, you can then still add two eight pointers for a powerful one and five, and still have room for another six pointer to slot in at two.

Also on media day in 2024 his main reasons for coming back was easy money. Sorry it’s a no from me, however if he ends up at Ipswich I’ll give him my support. Brennan is a different kettle of fish. Average dropped like a stone after a bad injury & the pressure of riding at number 1 for the bulk of the season. I have high hopes for the link up with Wroclaw however if that delivers Jankowski I’ll be disappointed.
Aries
Run this through a translator. Not sure we’ll get too much help from Uncle Artur this winter! He seems to have his hands full dealing with the aftermath of Wroclaw’s failure.
ShanoXtra
I’d take Kowalski from Wroclaw as a punt in the main body and Mikkel Anderson for the other under 21 rider along with Cooper for the British under 21 rider. Try everything to get Emil back as a 1 with Tobi as a 5 and fit either Brennan Ellis or King in amongst it, have no clue what averages that would add up to but would be a different and decent team with some new interest mixed with a “witches feel” team to it. chun
will there be enough punters to pay for these star studded line ups
LagutaRacingFan
Laguta is not in the GP series. So Ipswich have a great chance of bringing him over. If Richard Coleman pulls this off, I will be travelling from Peterborough for every home meeting.
