ASpeedwayfan Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM Will is a great young rider, yes he’s a character but that’s a good thing? Speedway needs more characters as it’s bums on seats. I’m not saying he’s playing the villain part like Niki Pedersen did but even if he did? We should be building up and supporting Will Cooper Jody and even Luke. As them 4 are probably leading the charge as the future of British Speedway.

I think both their averages are accurate, not higher or lower than they should Obviously the averages are calculated correctly so are accurate blue, what would be interesting if you've got the time would be to list how the bonus points were allocated between them when they were in same heat? Might give a truer reflection Edited yesterday at 12:43 PM by poole keith

Might give a truer reflection I know Lawson has a reputation of letting his team mate win races but I just thought this season he was not at his best and his average reflects that, it is not lower because he was always letting his team mate win. I do agree, I can recall plenty of times of Lawson slowing to allow Thompson past, but this year wasn’t the same dominant Lawson of usual. Still genuine No1 in any Team though.

Richard's had all sorts of off track stuff to deal with this year, not least the birth of his son and a very sick wife. Not helped by some unusual mid-season mechanicals!! Spot on, hopefully it’s Lawson and Zach back at 1 and 5 as they’ve shown they can do business and they’ll be a great match up against the top Pair of Masters and Brennan next season. Then it’s all about getting the rest of the team right. Based on the Top heavy looking Oxford side, we won’t match their heatleader power so it’s down to getting the right middle order and reserves

Muddle's parents want him to finish exams / school before speedway only just turned 16 in the summer so another 2 years before he may come over to the UK

Surprise and question mark signings? Sounds interesting. Do like a shock signing. Don't get them so much anymore as everyone knows something! So still waiting for points limit. I guess that is dependant on Plymouth.

ASpeedwayfan
Not being favourites makes me think we’ve either got a couple unknown riders, or we’ve grabbed someone on a super high average like Picko or maybe Chris Holder? Maybe coming to the end of his career and wants to double up in the UK? his average would be slightly higher than Picko but Scunthrope showed if you get the rest of the team right it might not matter? With Kennet capable of putting 2 points in his ave and maybe a Nagel type signing(5point signing) Poole wouldn’t have too long of a tail

But you lot crack on! I don't think Josh would do it as Poole too far from Yorkshire imo.
